I gasped when he snaked his arms on my waist and hugged me. “Hey,” he just said. A tear fell from my eyes as I hugged him back. I saw Ms. Dory smiling at me and nodded. She gestured the way out and I understand what she means, I just nodded. Ms. Dory then walked outside.

Then suddenly, arms snapped out in a swift strike, fluid seeping through the tank, closing around the fishes at once and folding it inward as quickly as it could.

I give him the barest of head shakes and his grin just gets bigger. I turn my attention back to my daughter. “Did you fall off Kai this time?” I ask her. “Nope, I held on tight like Daddy said.” “Did Daddy show you the Dory constellation?” I ask and she nods her head in exaggerated excitement. “Yep! He showed me her nose and her tail and her…” She turns and looks at Rik for help. “Her dorsal fin” He fills in for her as he sits to take off his shoes. “Yes, that, mommy.”

I went to get a bucket and splash him water, he didn't wake up immediately instead he hissed. He opened his eyes to see me with my bra and mini skirt, he looked away quickly probably noticing it was me. "You got me wet Dory..." he said. "Your statement was highly inappropriate." i hissed. "You didn't have to splash me with water, i get it you hate me." he said in a hurt tone or I'm deaf. "I don't hate you." i said but he didn't look up still. "OK i hate you but i don't hate you because of what you did today, you were trying to protect me and Molly told me everything I'm glad you were sticking your neck out for me." i said he still didn't look up his head was still bent down.
