She shook her butt and flailed her waist as she happily sang and danced. "Three brown bears, living together. Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Baby Bear." To hear a mellow children's song like that was a pleasant experience for Hilda. After she finished her dance, Luna ran up to Hilda and placed her hand on her knee while she yearningly asked, "How was my dance, Miss?" Hilda was more than pleased. Despite her lower face being covered by the mask, her smiling eyes were enough to tell Luna how impressed and entertained she was.

Ava There were three things Ava was slowly beginning to learn about her new 'friend' Bear. The first being that he was not just grumpy like she originally thought but actually extremely grumpy and it wasn't because he hadn't warmed up to her but because that's just who he is. It’s a baby polar bear.” He said excitedly and started nuzzling his face into the bear’s fur.

"All's forgiven." She smiles at him, and the thump of his heart again slams against his chest, the uncomfortableness easing slightly with each second that passes. "They're a family," she says firmly as she strokes the top of the first bear. "This is Deborah Bear. This is Damon Bear." Damon's head pops up from where he is working on a puzzle on the ground, and his small nose scrunches. "I wanna be a crocodile!" Apparently, he's deciding to play along now.

“You had fun.” “I hate that you’re right.” “Mmhm.” The rest of the day turns into a blur of games, terrible carnival food, and Greg spending an unreasonable amount of money trying to win me an oversized stuffed bear. “You know you can just buy one, right?” I ask. “That’s quitter talk.” Twenty minutes later, he finally wins after aggressively dominating a basketball game booth. Greg hands me the ridiculously giant bear proudly. “There. Victory.” I stare at the thing. “This is bigger than me.”

And if that meant a night at the arcade, so be it. The trio of friends made their way through the game house, passing the clanging of pinball machines and the digital screams of virtual racers. Ashley's eyes landed on the giant teddy bear prize, tucked away behind a wall of plush toys. It was at least six feet tall, with a pink bow around its neck and a cheeky grin that seemed to beckon her. She had always wanted to win one of those, ever since she was a little girl. "Look at that bear," she exclaimed, pointing.
