The Harbinger’s Forbidden Mates

The Harbinger’s Forbidden Mates

I stood in the center, trembling, glowing faintly with light that wasn’t fire, wasn’t shadowsomething terrifying, something mine. My voice shook as I stared at the devastation. “What… what did I just do?” From the darkness, a whisper coiled around me, cold and certain. “The Harbinger has awakened.”

THE BIKER'S NEW FOUND MATE

THE BIKER'S NEW FOUND MATE

The Harbingers came back at night. Different approach this time. Subtle. Quiet. They sent dreams. I woke up to Phoenix crying. Not normal crying. Terrified crying. And glowing. Bright. Pulsing. "What's wrong?" Reaper was up instantly. Alert. Ready. "They're in his head," I said. Grabbing Phoenix. Holding him close. "The Harbingers. They're—they're sending him dreams. Trying to—to communicate. Trying to convince him to come to them." "How do you know?"

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

The very air around her seemed to vibrate with a structured harmony that made my own silver limbs feel clunky and primitive. “We have a problem,” I said, breaking the heavy silence. I tapped my silver fingers against the air, projecting a holographic map of the Hub. “The integration in the crypt sent a pulse through the entire North Sector. It didn’t just wake up the ‘blind spots,’ Winnie. It signaled the Harvesters.” Thorne’s head snapped up. “The Harvesters? They haven’t been active since the Fallow hit the atmosphere. They’re sky-born, Silas. They don’t like the green.”

Too Late, Prince! I’m No Longer Your Chubby Luna

Too Late, Prince! I’m No Longer Your Chubby Luna

"This thing... it’s generating a dampening field. It feeds on active magic." The Harbinger lowered its featureless void mask toward us. The double-headed scythe in its hand ignited with a sickening wave of purple fire that licked against the ceiling. "The girl comes with me," the Harbinger’s voice echoed like grinding tectonic plates, reverberating inside the bone cavity of my skull. "The Alpha dies." It didn't glide—it lunged with blinding, unnatural speed. The massive scythe cut through the air in a sweeping downward arc meant to split Adrian in two.

she said and leaned towards Iktanne's ear and whispered, "... we've heard a few days ago in the library from the proctors that the Giants were collecting gold and souls from the normals. They said that there was an insignia left on the shores of the north... which might cause a great trouble because it links back here in the Academy and the Empire." Iktanne's face was wild with shock. "What insignia was it?," she whispered back. "Well, we don't know for the bell started ringing for our next class so we weren't able to get what they were saying." The blond guy, Anthony, stood up from the other end of the couch and interrupted them, saying he'll be away to get some food. He looked at Iktanne's

Retribution of the Roar

Retribution of the Roar

These signs were called the three harbingers and the first sign just appeared last night. “A rabid beast that rattles, eh?” said Regina. “I suppose that’s the ancient’s way of referring to the talking nightspawn.” Regina sighed. If only the Moonlings and human still had their close communication with each other, then maybe the world have been a better place to play games. “The first harbinger. But a harbinger of what?” another officer asked. Sir Tanori was into deep thinking. One could tell immediately that a thought occurred in his mind when his eyes lit up.

Shadow Hunter

Shadow Hunter

It was a pathetic and undeniable craven existence but it was how they were winning the war. Dave let out a sigh. "No. He used a HG blade." I nodded. A brilliant man named Henry Gomez spent his life developing a UV spiked, but essentially silver based liquid that could be applied to any metallic object, leaving a coat of active poison that would kill both shade and host upon entering the their shared body. Something in perfectly balanced formula temporarily imprisoned the shade and as long as the wounds you inflicted on the human were mortal, the shade shared the same fate. The HG liquid had become as precious to us as light bulbs. It was hard to come by at the best of times, especially out h

RAVEN

~Night in the North~ The band of the night anti-supernatural creatures were all set out all on standby against the time the enemy steps forth unaware of their secret formation and intentions. They are all following the lead of Raven. "Kai, can you hear me now?" Raven asked tapping the piece plugged to her ear. "Yes Raven. Very clear" "I'm with Delilah. Check with Archie and the rest. Any time from now, we might spot something fishy around. I think they are probably thinking of setting a trap for us tonight"

Shadow Wolves

Shadow Wolves

They were vicious against enemies, the shapeless assassins and spies that could penetrate the defences of any threat whilst also providing aid to those that they obey. A faint shuddering in the shadows hinted at the appearance of the wolves. They moved cautiously, looking to avoid the last of the dappled light that fell between the pine trees. Slowly their forms took shape like watery images of beasts, their bodies floating and swirling like smoke and mist. Behind the witch, the warriors shifted uneasily, still not used to seeing these curious creatures. “Look, Signe! Do you see them?” Estrid cooed to her daughter, pointing to the first of the shadowy figures that stepped out from the roilin

the female says as she opens a black door, and I give her a nod before stepping into the older Makskin's office. "Ahh. There you are-the, three males of the hour. Commander Burk, Captain Nole, Lieutenant Modok. Please sit down. I have terrific news," Hik says as his burgundy hand gestures towards the chairs in front of him. Nole shoots me a look, but I ignore it as I sit down in the chair farthest to the right. "I will get right to the point since you need rest. The three of you have been chosen for Harvest. You are now Tournament Champions. Your retirement is effective immediately. Congratulations," Hiks announces, and a moment passes over us before Nole erupts.

I’ve now read this book twice. It was fantastic the first time and I caught things I missed the second time. Great storyline, no rushing through the story and I felt like it ended with no loose ends. Can’t wait to read about more of the characters in the next book!
