I sat on the bed and brought the oblong burning candle closer to myself, the only source of light in the room. , he flashed him a smile. “But I can’t”, Eric thought to himself. “You can grab something from my clothes”, Harry said, taking off his sweatshirt, “I see we have the same size”. Eric looked away as soon as Harry’s abs appeared before his eyes. He cleared his throat and looked for the dressing room. It was only his first day, and Harry was already being a nuance. I took it out and read the title. It was only one word. Magic. It looked interesting so I took it and sat back down on the couch. The first few chapters were not that interesting. History of magic and spells. The next few chapters talked about potions and herbs. But the last chapter caught my attention. It simply said: “Prophecies”. I flipped over to the last chapter and started reading. It was about prophecies that already happened. It was about who made those prophecies and what they meant to the supernatural world. Nothing useful to me. I needed to know about the prophecy that didn’t happen already.

Childishly, she stomps on it with her heeled boot to appease her rage before letting out a small scream of frustration. I watch her make a dramatic exit before stepping out from between the shelves a couple of seconds later, eyes cautiously searching just in case. Shaking my head in amusement I trace my way back to the storefront and settle on one of the sofa’s to read. I feel the need to arm myself with a lot of knowledge now that I know what I could become, the first book I’d picked is called History of Elementals. On the first page is the beautiful design of the black interlaced knots in the middle of the page. Seeing the knot, I’m reminded of my black triquetra tattoo and shift uncomfort

Sean thought to himself. Running towards the light, he exclaimed, "Os..." However, he trailed off, leaving the word unfinished. He stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed something was wrong. I muttered, opening the first page. I needed to start working on myself so that I could erase all thoughts of Xavier’s sister from his memory. On the first page of the book was a table of content, showing all that was to be found in the book. I scrolled down from the introduction and jumped to “Casting your first spell.” I traced my finger on the dotted lines and found the page number. I opened the book and when I got to this page, I stopped. The name of the contact was boldly written in capital letters and it took the whole page. Opening to the next page, I found it’s content.

“Oh my god! You got me the Harry Potter Series!” I rushed to the bookshelf and grabbed a copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. It was the only book I had read in the series and I had fallen in love with it. I had promised myself that I would buy more but I never got the money. “Yeah, girl,” she said smugly, “and I got you some others you might like…” I saw the other books and my jaw dropped. It was almost all the books on my reading wish list.
