Hermoine froze. “What?” “She shifted. Finally. She has a wolf now. And not just any wolf. A huge one. Strong. Dangerous.” Hermoine laughed for one second, like it was a joke. Then she realized it wasn’t. Her face changed. Fast. She picked up her wine glass and smashed it against the wall. “They’re mates?” she shouted. “You’re telling me he has a mate now?!” I nodded, jaw tight. “And it’s her?” Again, I nodded.

A second wolf began sniffing the air, assuming an attacking position. “I smell blood,” he said through clenched teeth. “We have company.” The brown wolf stood in front of the young witch, while the larger wolf came at me in a frontal attack, lunging his paws in my direction. I leaped to the side and backward, skillfully dodging the blows. “These eyes,” growled the wolf, attacking me in a rage. “You're the hybrid they've been talking about all around the world—the one from the legend!” “Legend?” I hesitated, and the wolf headbutted me in the snout, leaving me dazed. He came at me with full force, swatting his paw at my face. “Damn it!” I growled through my teeth.

He heard few steps stamping in but couldn't dare get a look. “There's no record of him, Master”, the harsh voice remarked and immediately there was a mild thud of a falling body beside him. He perceived Harry's scent. He fought himself to look the direction and saw Harry's quivering body. He was responsible for whatever happened to him. “As expected. He brought in an ordinary wolf to confront my kind. My kind!! How humiliating?!“, he let out a dreadful growl. Alex hoped Sherlyn and Mike had found a means of escape at least. He knew he could get himself back if his wolf can find expression, but feared losing Harry in the process.

"For a witch." "For my mate," Kael said. "The species is irrelevant to the law." "The species," Maren said, and now the pleasantness in her voice had thinned to something underneath it, something cold and very old, "is the entire point of the law, Kael. Ordinance Seventeen exists because wolf witches are a destabilizing force. They can unravel the bonds that hold packs together. They can unmake what the moon built." Her eyes moved to me. Cool and direct and entirely without warmth. "This one tried to sever your bond the moment she met you. You told me as much in your report."

"That's Dirty. He's the one that stuck his dick in my mouth. I bit him and ripped part of his dick off. My wolf slashed his chest when we tried to shift." "Your wolf is a bitch!" Dirty yelled. "So are you." I laughed. "My wolf has fantasies about you." "Really?" He sounded intrigued. "Yes. You wouldn't enjoy them." "Try me. I doubt a little girl and her wolf could have any fantasy that would shock me."

The both of them began walking to the staircase that led up, to the next floor, where Citadel K was. “So what other differences do you think there are?” Harold who had been studying a small-sized blonde who seemed to be crying in a corner turned to look at her. The student had the same stature as Derek, Harold remembered, but Derek had been a Enchanter. A wizard, precisely. There was no way this weeping student was related to Derek. “I didn't hear what you said,” he said, turning back to look at her. “What other differences do you think there are between the pup of an Alpha and a normal wolf?”

Evely made a dreamy face, she was lost in her own dream admiring the beauty of her new cute professor, even though she was already in love with someone else. "Tsk tsk tsk tsk".. Sophia shook her head at her. "I don't know why you and other students are dying for that guy actually, f*ck he doesn't even look that cool," Sophia muttered nonchalantly taking her gaze back to her book. "By the way, what book is that?" Evely asked as she bent her head to look at the back and it was written; ....The Wolf.... "Sophia so you are still into this book?" "I mean, just so you can find out how to kill them in case you eventually find one! You are still on this?" Evely had a sentimental look on her face as

sink in and take root in everyone's mind before she continued; "Their wolf." Another pause. Murmurs. Silence. The witch continued; "In return for this spell to be casted on whoever it is needed for, the person who goes to the witch will have to lose their wolf." "So you're saying if someone here really casted such a spell, they probably don't have their wolf anymore?" "Yes" I turned to my little audience and stood to my feet. As I did, slowly walking down the podium and to the leveled ground of the throne room where they were all standing. I stopped when I got to where Ilvira was huddled on the floor. She cowered under my gaze when she looked up at me. "So there is a big possibility that my

Harry's answer caught my attention. Harry talked about Sora's aura. He was the only one who could talk about it so openly without asking for anything in return. Harry was a hybrid, born with the power of a werewolf and druid mixed together in his blood. I turned around to look at him. “What do you mean? No one's aura can change. Didn't you say that when we were in the academy? You said it to her when she was convinced that she could change her aura by training hard.” I asked Harry, my tone was laced with my anger.

A flash of silver out of the corner of his eye drew his eyes up to see a slight shimmer in the air before they all disappeared into it, a sword sticking out of his Luna after she jumped in front of an advancing warrior from the crowd. The wolf that impaled the Luna looked just like him! What wolf possesses that skill? The ability to glamor takes a very rare wolf with a specific set of skills. I know only one wolf that has resources like those, Jo, Sir Alpha of the Rogues. That's strike 1... Rex’s uman was frozen in terror, but his wolf acted instinctively, phasing and lunging himself at the upper tier, a black aura radiating from him. "Alpha, stop!" Makai warned. He followed his Alpha's lead
