The shock wave hurled me to the ground, causing the world to spin for a moment. I sat up and saw black smoke emitting into the air. Getting on my feet again, I saw two other hunters appeared. They drew out their shining hatchets and curved blades from their backs. One of them threw a hatchet at me. I did a back-flip, missing the weapon barely an inch. The other lunged forward, but I welcomed him with a kick to the chest. He went airborne and broke through a window shop.

I hissed as I got up. "You have to hurry!" Hilda said urging me to move faster. I took the knife that had my son's blood on it trucking it in my pant.
