Novel & Cerita Haunting Adeline Summary Spoilers

I need to be comfortable if I am going to collapse. I pick up a new book to read, it is titled Haunting Adeline and it is a dark romance. I start reading the book to pass the time and about twenty minutes later, “Luna, you were right. Austiin and Cyrus followed him home and when he knocked on the door, a blonde girl opened the door and let him in,” Harlan tells me through our connection.

Ada Steele:- With a wild gasp of repulsion, I awoke, my hand darting to my chest where a moment before the dagger had struck through my heart, or rather what had seemed a moment. It felt as though my lungs were burning, my throat was scorched, and I was gazing with wide-open eyes at the gentle morning light pouring in the usual transparent curtains. My heart was beating with great thudding, my bosom heaving up and down under violent gasps of breath, as I gazed around this small, humble room, formerly my own, in the packhouse.

I felt it then — a sharp, burning pain shooting down my spine. My hands started trembling violently. The green haze in my vision grew stronger. I could hear heartbeats. Three of them. Loud. Too loud. “Clark…” My voice came out weak. He looked up instantly, eyes wide with panic. “Azalea?” The intruder took advantage. He headbutted Edwin and flung him off, then yanked the stake from his own shoulder with a sickening sound. Before Sorin could react, the vampire hurled a shard of broken glass straight at me.

After I was done peeling the apple, I munched on it and began chatting with her, seemingly nonchalantly, like I was just talking about the weather, while telling her everything that had happened in my past life. Lacey's eyes were first filled with terror, then confusion, then shock. When I was done with my story, Lacey said with much difficulty, "Impossible… You couldn't have had a past life… That's all bullshit! "I'd never have killed you… I'd never… You shouldn't believe it… You're making a stupid mistake!" I threw the apple core into the trash can and wiped my hands clean. "Don't be stupid. Why would I ever kill you? Your boyfriend will do the job instead.

"What did you just say?" Penelope's voice turned cautious. "Cal, she might've cheated on you." … Meanwhile, the supposedly unfaithful Sydney was driving toward the Hampton residence. Early that morning, Adeline had called, asking her to come by to formalize the terms they had agreed on—signing paperwork and all. Sydney had no objections. She had taken the houses and the money. Signing a contract would not be a problem. After lunch, she grabbed her bag and left the clinic. The Hampton residence was especially quiet at this hour. Dorothy often napped in the afternoon, and her sleep was light. The staff moved with hushed steps, careful not to disturb her.

“It’s impossible… isn’t it?” The scent and memories were like a poison that was killing me. Hence, right after I gulped the left whiskey in my glass, I stood up and rushed around the pack, following her scent, until I found Adeline at the dining hall, leisurely picking foods from the buffet. “What the hell!” she cursed as I grabbed her by the arm, causing her to lose grip of her plate. Shuttered pieces flew all over the place, and the food was scattered on the floor.

She was gone. The silence that followed was suffocating. The flames danced in front of them, consuming the last remains of a woman who had once been feared. And now—she was nothing but ash. Adeline’s knees buckled, and before she could stop herself—she fell. Her breath was shallow, her vision blurred. She felt… nothing. No anger. No relief. Nothing. It was all over. The past. The war. The hunger for vengeance. Everything had ended in fire and blood.

Shirley's POV Right from the moment I and the other girls entered the loud and bustling hall, we fell into a state of utter confusion and dismay. It didn't take long for me to know we were bidden on and sold to the highest bidders. _Agatha was right. We are the damned goods to be sold._ I began to feel really bad for Cecilia, I wish I could protect her. _I had to accept my damned fate._ The girls was sold one after the other until it got to my turn. Suddenly, the stage light focused on me, unfortunately I hadn't covered my eyes in time, the bright light stung my eyes badly almost making me go blind.

Reaching back into the recesses of my mind, I search for Adeline. 'Adeline,' I whisper weakly in my mind. 'I am here,' her voice and presence is weak within me. 'What happened?' I ask her hoping that she remembers more than what I do. 'I don't know,' Adeline's voice is fading softer and softer. 'But I feel myself fading away.' 'Adeline,' I call out in my mind as loud as I can but there is no response. 'Adeline,' I whisper again but she is gone.

Wilbur shouted all of a sudden, "Augheimer, don't look him in the eyes!" Augheimer locked eyes with Adela and felt his mind promptly go blank. Wilbur exploded with an even more powerful energy aura, and Adela struggled with all his might but was unable to escape. He turned into a skeleton instantly before turning to dust and scattering into the air. The energy aura disappeared, and Wilbur fell onto the ground in the sitting position as his chest heaved. Augheimer returned to his senses in a panic, asking, "Wait, where's Adela?" "He's dead."
