I let out a sigh and turned on the TV.
“Turn that off, it’s distracting,” he scolded.
I sat there in silence, and, with nothing better to do, I lay there, staring at him. Dropping my head, I took a deep breath. Picking up my iPhone, I decided perhaps takeout was the way to go. I ordered a pizza. Hamburger seemed like a good bet and some cola. The phone rang, and he gave me a quizzical look.
“Hello? Yes, I’ll be right down.” I fished through my purse for some money.
