Barsha's long beautiful brunette hair was now entirely gone; she'd shaved her head down to the skin, and she appeared so disoriented and bewildered that I felt sorry for her. She strolled past us with her head down not even looking at us and got onto the sailboat. Peter, Ricky, and Justine all gazed and swapped furtive stares, no one from them ever said anything.
