Headache When Blowing Nose Novels & Stories

The amount of awareness I had with my current situation is enough to tone down my cries. The cold weather easily dried my tears. It made everything more uncomfortable now that I feel sticky every time I move my face. It’s hard to breathe with my clogged nose. I could breathe through my mouth, but that means the snot can get inside. As much as blowing out all the snot sounds wonderful, that would only make my face stickier. With nothing else to do, I screamed my lungs out. They said you could feel lighter after shouting your frustrations. It did, just a little.

she said. "And what part of your head do you mostly feel this pain?" I asked. "The front, near my forehead" she said as she touched it. "What does that tell you Jasmine?" I asked Jasmine who was standing beside me. My hand which I leaned on the wall covered my bleeding nose, while I had my other hand on my waist. Without turning to my doctor, I asked through the mind link, "Where's the restroom?"

The clock on the wall said lunch would be over in a few minutes. I hurried to the bathroom and washed the blood off my face. The bridge of my nose hurt and it sat at an awkward angle. Grinding my teeth, I cursed my brother's name a dozen times. I held my breath and quickly pushed it back into place, hissing at the pain that made my throbbing headache worse. My eyes watered horribly and made the cuts on my face sting. I popped three more of my pain meds, cringing when I realized I only had a precious few left.

"The usual cook named Noel Kieran suddenly called in sick so he was sent to the infirmary. He was fine in the morning though." Ricky's faltered slightly, feeling a thundering beat in his chest. "D-Do you know why he was called in sick?" He pursed his mouth after hearing himself stuttering. Adam who noticed it suspiciously glanced at Ricky. "Well, some said he got a nosebleed or something, which was actually quite common at this time of the year." True, overheat could make the blood rush to the head and caused nasal bleeding. Ricky's tense shoulders calmed a bit.

The antiseptic stench of this hospital is making my stomach turn. It smells like cheap floor wax and something that I can't quite put a finger on, but horrible. My nose is throbbing from Owen's punch, and it's the very cause of my headache too, that bastard. Every breath I take feels like a blade in my sinuses, and I know I look a mess. The bandage across the bridge of my nose is probably crooked, and I’m sure my eyes are bloodshot from my lack of sleep.
