Headache When Blowing Nose Novels & Stories

Aaron's pov. I pressed my fingers against my nose to stop th flow of blood. I don't understand why Solene is going overboard with this. I am fine it's just a nose bleed I have a has a couple before. For the first time in my life, I kind of glad for my petite frame that I could fit into this space. The smell of dust wafted into my nostrils, trickling into my nasal passageway and threatening to cause me to sneeze. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, pinching the bridge of my nose tightly. I keep on repeating a silent mantra on my head—please don’t sneeze, please don’t sneeze, please don’t sneeze. That until the trickling sensation of my nose has subsided, letting me sigh in relief.

The amount of awareness I had with my current situation is enough to tone down my cries. The cold weather easily dried my tears. It made everything more uncomfortable now that I feel sticky every time I move my face. It’s hard to breathe with my clogged nose. I could breathe through my mouth, but that means the snot can get inside. As much as blowing out all the snot sounds wonderful, that would only make my face stickier. The clock on the wall said lunch would be over in a few minutes. I hurried to the bathroom and washed the blood off my face. The bridge of my nose hurt and it sat at an awkward angle. Grinding my teeth, I cursed my brother's name a dozen times. I held my breath and quickly pushed it back into place, hissing at the pain that made my throbbing headache worse. My eyes watered horribly and made the cuts on my face sting. I popped three more of my pain meds, cringing when I realized I only had a precious few left.

When I withdrew the tissue away from my nose, I found it red. Blood! I teared up all over again as I felt my heartbeats increasing at an unbelievable speed. Why is there blood in my snot? I jumped in fright when a stabbing sound echoed in the silent house. I was shaking in fear as I stumbled towards the kitchen holding my bleeding nose with the tissue to try and stop more blood from coming out but it was in vain.
