I admit, hearing Kitty shriek, looking up to see Nikki picking her up and carrying her to the lounge near the fireplace. “Romulus and Remus,” Osric chuckles, shaking his head at our excited friends who talk to Benjamin and Ares. “I like that, but I’m pretty sure they’re girls,” I pick up both kittens to verify their genders. “Skoll and Hati, after the wolves of Ragnarök,” Jonathan suggests, peeling his eyes from Roan to look down at the sleepy kittens in my lap. I smile, looking over at our daughter to see she is smiling up at her dads who are giving her all the attention she wants.

"Hey kitty," I say finding her on top of her shelf, her tail was moving lazily around, she must be bored staying here all alone the whole day, bored, we need to get her some toys soon. "Hi," she answers me waving her hand over her head. "Wanna come down? Spend time with me?" I ask her finger crossed she'll agree to come down and spend time with me. "Okay," she agrees, giving me her hands ready to come down.

I was too busy typing back an email to my business associates that i didn't notice she came back and closed my laptop. " Alexandria, I'm busy typing a message. " I complained, but she didn't listen to me, she sat next to me and took the laptop away. I tried to reach it, but she stood up from the bed and held it higher like she could. My little kitten looks so cute, doesn’t she know I’m taller than her? An idea flashes in my head. So my kitten wants to play with me, huh?

Kitty playfully purrs at me, making Liliana giggle and shake her head. “I don’t see why things wouldn’t be natural with Jonathan, unless he makes it awkward because of the past. Having two of them huh, so do they actually take turns or do you take them both at once?” Liliana teases with a knowing look. I shake my head at my rising temperature, never expecting this conversation with anyone. “Oh, I bet both at once, I bet they love making Raven scream and make all kinds of other noises,” Kitty adds playfully, elbowing Liliana, I close my eyes and begin praying the ground swallows me up whole.

She bites her lower lip— white teeth sinking into red flesh— then turns, smiling at the bartender. "Whisky please. Rocks." Her gaze returns to me, and she raises her eyebrows. "Make that two," I say, not leaving her gaze. A minute later he places the drinks in front of us, her hand immediately reaching out to bring it to her lips. "Katherine," she says after taking a slow sip, "but my friends call me Kat." "Adam, but everyone calls me Emilio." "I think I'll stick with Adam," she replies haughtily, daring me to tell her otherwise. I lean in closer to her, trailing her body with my eyes again. I can't stop looking at her legs. She notices, and again raises an eyebrow.

Patrick let go of me and smiled and nodded as he walked back over to Colton. "We have offered Kitty pack membership and she has agreed. As most of you know, it is very fortunate and lucky for a werewolf pack to have a witch. The Moon Goddess has blessed us with Kitty and we should be grateful. We should treat her as the treasure that she is." Colton paused and looked at me. I smiled and nodded and he continued on. "Are there any questions or comments at this time?" he asked and suddenly there were hands in the air all over the place.

Kitty had once asked her if there was someone she wanted to dance with under the stars in front of the Eiffel Tower and the person whose face flashed in front of her wasn’t Andreas but Liam. She was shocked. He was her best friend and not someone she’d seen to marry down the line. She had never thought of him more than a friend and that day her own imagination shocked her. She couldn’t help but wonder if she perhaps liked Liam. The more she kept on thinking about it, the more she began to hate Andreas. There was always a comparison her mind drew between her best friend and the evil man who molested and raped her. “Bye,” Kitty said with a gleaming smile on her face.

But not this time. She wasn’t plotting revenge. She wasn’t planning to destroy his reputation. He was her ex–best friend, after all. She would simply go with the flow. She has no clue what is ahead waiting for her, but one thing she knows is that Karma is a bitch. Karma gets you back. You just need to believe in it and move on. Try not to take matters into your own hands if unnecessary. Just leave it to Karma. It has its way of dealing with things.

She totally ignores my statement. "J..Jade, don't hate mo...mommy, she loves us. Tell dad too...and...and Liam, mommy will come back...and when she does...love her...the way you do now...she loves us. I still don't like you" Kitty says, managing to smile even as her eyes are struggling to stay open "...but I love you because you're an awesome sister and an amazing friend....Tell daddy and Liam, I love them too" She should stop talking, save her energy. I tell her this but she doesn't listen.
