“Now this one…” He shook his head, almost impressed, almost unsettled. “This one’s mad.” He leaned back against the counter, gripping the edge of the book a little tighter. There was something about this story that didn’t feel heavy like the last one. It was still intense, but cleaner. Sharper. “Man went in for a job… came out with something else entirely,” he muttered. Adam ran a hand over his chin, thinking it through. It wasn’t about control this time. Not like before. This one felt… equal. Two people walking into the same moment for completely different reasons and meeting right in the middle of it.

Finally I spoke, "Where exactly are we mom? I thought the book was to tell me everything." "Well dear, the book actually brought you here so I could speak with you. Sure it tells you everything but I needed to tell you all of this in person, well as in person as we could get. In a sense you're in your self conscious. A piece of your mind that you find peace in." At least there, I can have peace. When I arrived at the garden, I felt the peace hugging me. 'Finally.' Away from those stabbing gazes, away from that annoying expression of Rosine, away from that indifferent male lead. Amongst the books I brought with me, there's one with an inconspicuous book with a simple red cover. "From One Space to Another" is the title of the book. It is a romance story about a girl who can teleport from one place to another and a boy who was from another parallel universe.

Yet he couldn't seem to ask any of those questions. After ending the call, he picked up the book he was reading, ' I am Mighty Me', and continued flipping through the pages. He was one of the first batches to have preordered the book, and he finally got his hands on it. He glanced through the book, his eyes scanning across each page, as if the gentle, delicate words on the page could allow him to interact with her inner world. There was even her own signature scribbled on the title page of the book. He chuckled when he came to the part about 'Hilden Adams'.
