Hidden Dungeon Only I Could Enter Novels & Stories

I walk into my downstairs office, where I always keep a change of clothes, and I take off my robe and put on a black T-shirt and blue jeans. I walk out of the house and take the car so I can get to the dungeon fast. The dungeon is under the main building. It was built into the secret passageways that run under the pack, but the main building and the Alpha's house are the only entrances into it. I park my car in front of the building and Lachlan is waiting outside for me. “If you're out here, who's down there with them?” I asked him as we walked inside.

Behind us, the sound of boots and shouts echoed closer. “Why do we always run into traps?” I huffed. “It’s like a damn hobby at this point.” “Maybe because you are always the bait,” Declan muttered. I didn’t have a witty comeback for that because he wasn’t wrong. At the bottom of the stairs, Tim shoved another hidden door open, and we stumbled into a massive underground cavern. The air was damp, and faint streams of light filtered through cracks in the ceiling above, illuminating a wide stone bridge suspended over a deep, black abyss.

Beom knew this as well, that was why he agreed even though he would never admit it. I walked towards the entrance of the underground and broke the lock. I dragged away the Iron cover and looked down; there was a long, old, wooden staircase. It seemed like the place hadn't been open for years. After they had entered, I jumped in and shut the cover. The place was dark, but there was a hole through which light seeped in, making the place a little visible.

That would work in my favor. The dungeon was underground, accessible only by two known entry points — one near the throne hall and the other behind the servant’s wing, near the cold cellar. The throne hall was crawling with guards. Which left only one option. I started walking quickly toward the kitchens. I knew the castle better than most. I’d wandered every lonely corner when I’d been ignored, unseen. Every time someone tried to forget me, I’d found a new place to belong in silence. That silence was finally going to serve me.
