The kind that meant she was about to say something cruel—but she’d say it sweetly, like a gift.

Huffing, I swiveled the chair and frowned at the brunette before me, who was enjoying being a tease. "I'd like to bring to your attention, woman, that even if I quit work and buy the world, I won't go broke. Who do you think I am?" She gave me yet another one of her fake eye smiles. I felt the hair on my nape stand up. I cry, "Stop looking at me like that! Your fake smile creeps the hell out of me!" She ignored me. "I think you're a forgetful woman. Which tells me, counting how you haven't changed yet," she stared at my chest area.

I sarcastically said with a wide smile on my face. His face was still and cold. The only tiring thing that could make me know what was going on was the blinking of his eyes. And that gave off nothing. “We will see about that.”
