Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)

Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)

I had been talking to my wolf, and the last thing I needed was for anyone to overhear and start asking questions I couldn't answer. The thought weighed heavily on me as I paced the small room. Within the pack's confines, ranks dictated everything: your role, your future, even the way others treated you. Alphas were born leaders; Betas were their steadfast second in command, and Gammas were the protectors. Beyond that, the hierarchy included warriors, trackers, healers, and of course, Omegas.

The fate of the Rejected Alpha

The fate of the Rejected Alpha

"Anyway, the hierarchy in common wolf packs is pretty much the same as that of lycanthropes. The difference is, wolves don't have a boss above all bosses. But let's focus on the functioning of a pack. The alpha is who makes the decisions, he decides what they will hunt and who will eat when he, his female and the cubs eat, usually comes the betas and for the omegas only the rectum." "By the order you're telling me, I should be the third to eat. But because of my stains... All I got was contempt. I think what they were trying to do was kill me," she says sadly. "Don't lose focus, Sasha!" Occisor complains, not trying to be rude, just so she doesn't get lost in her sad thoughts and memories. H

Violet: The Lycan King

Violet: The Lycan King

Werewolves were actually real, and she was talking with one. "Well Violet, this is a pack of werewolves as you already know. We're all bonded together by the pack bond which makes us have a sense of family. Werewolves that don't belong to a pack are called rogues and they're really dangerous…" Violet thought back to that night in the forest with that wolf. Maybe it was rogue, or maybe it wasn't. "We've got hierarchy of authority in a pack. The omegas are the last rank in werewolf hierarchy and the ordinary werewolves. They live freely, some serve other members of the pack, and that's about it. There's warriors that defend the pack and it's territory, the gamma, which is me who's in charge of

Rhapsody for a Wolf

Rhapsody for a Wolf

Tony asks, frowning at me. I heave a sigh. “I read the original study for that. Total bullshit. They threw together a bunch of wolves that were strangers, the wolves fought, what else did they expect? Most wolf packs are a family. The parents are in charge, the kids follow their lead. Werewolf hierarchy's got a bunch of human baggage thrown in on top of that.” I catch Sarah’s amusement before I hear her stifling a giggle. “Baxter’s… calling you Daddy?” I roll my eyes at her. “I guess it’s his way of saying ‘rather you than me, handling this mess.’ I can try to have another word with him.”

Shifted Fate

Shifted Fate

Rowan shook his head and made his way to the back of the class. “This isn’t my typical first class, but I feel like we have certain things that we should go over.” He slid on to his desk. “We as wolves have a hierarchy for a very simple reason. The strong protects the weak. The high rank you have, the more people you have to worry about.” He wiped his face. “Alphas have to know that there are better ways to get information, though.” A man named Steven chimed in.

Carol Garvey
I LOVED the 5 chapters I read. The author found a different path than the usual werewolf novel. HOWEVER! Unlike most novels or book clubs, when you reach a certain point, you have the option of buying credit, joining the club, OR watching ads. MINUS TEN STARS for no ad reading option. Pure greed.

I’d love for Amy and Rowan’s story to continue. Rebuilding the kingdom, righting all the wrongs… life between Amy’s story and Carly’s. Then Carly’s story. I’d even love some character stories as standalone. I love the world you’ve created. I’m daydreaming of the future of this world so much! <3

Warrior's human mate

Warrior's human mate

Ayden added, as if to regain control of the conversation. “Hmm. So the rules help you navigate leadership.” “Exactly. I don’t need to figure out everything myself. The system is there. And I’ve got my Beta and other ranked members to support me.” “Okay, but why such obsessive emphasis on hierarchy?” I asked, just as a low growl rumbled from him. I squinted at him. Why the reaction? “It simplifies things. Wolves are hierarchical by nature. But we do love each other—we’re like one big family.”

When Alpha meets Omega

When Alpha meets Omega

The Wolf exhaled loudly, considering. “In a Pack, there is a hierarchy. The Alpha- uh, the leader alpha, I mean- is at the top of that hierarchy. Other wolves fall under him in a specific order, determined by a lot of things. Their relationship to the Alpha, their roles, their personalities, their age and strength, their natural dominance… it’s hard to explain to someone who doesn’t feel it, but it’s not just politics. It’s part of what makes us a Pack.” Lance watched the human’s face for reactions, but Clyde was carefully neutral, probably trying as hard as he could not to react. “It’s really important that everyone understands where they are in the hierarchy. We live lives that can be dang

Can't Tame Me

Can't Tame Me

Making them understand that it was better to space out social evenings Above all, Chris' lessons helped me understand the very fragmented hierarchy of wolves. At the very top of the food chain, there is the alpha k-one and its premium pack, composed of betas, who run the whole territory; and, below comealphaAlpha k-two, who manage the following ranks, reporting to the previous ones, the alpha k takes care of several small packs, made up of the alpha k and their very close families. All of these are protected by unbound betas and served by omegas. The latter are the most numerous wolves; however, they cannot transform, having no access to their animal party, a

Her wolves desire

Her wolves desire

Her life was bonded to his. The other voice moved to front now “my goddess!” she could hear her wolf say as she shifted on new legs, strong agile, powerful legs. She could feel a rush as electricity shoot down her spine, this body was ready to run. The black wolf arched his large head back and began to howl. She shied away for a second, then another howl joined his. She looked past her mate to see a slightly smaller gray wolf approaching from the woods, she felt her hackles go up, her new wolf body ready to fight. The black wolf, her mate stepped into her line of sight placing his head under her snout rubbing his face against hers. She suddenly felt a rush of calm come over her, and the thou
