Hinduism Mythical Creatures Novels & Stories

It was a thrilling experience, immersing ourselves in the lives of these magnificent creatures. With our newfound abilities, we continued our journey, exploring deeper into the heart of the realm. We encountered mythical creatures like the wise and elusive phoenix, the mischievous and quick-witted kitsune, and the majestic and ethereal mermaids. Each encounter brought its own set of challenges and lessons, but we faced them with bravery and curiosity.

"I just hope he isn't like Oni. The last time they were here they made a mess. But Lukas is good friends with their King so we let it slide" I frowned, "What is Oni?" Leo sighed, "They are like Japanese ogre like creatures. Kinda scary because of their horns" I parted my lips in shock. There was so much I needed to learn. Lukas was annoying and obnoxious so I refuse to take help from him. But maybe Leo can help me understand all the creatures. I was still reeling from Hindu mythology. "How am I supposed to know about everyone?" "You need to learn" Leo said in a duh tone as he pushed his hands in his pants pocket, admiring the painting on the wall. Obviously Lauren did that.

I broke into a fit of giggles, “only you A.” “What?” He asked looking perplexed. “My mother is a titan, not I. I am something else altogether, something more. I’m not certain I know how to explain it. I’ve spent time researching old scriptures and books, and the Hindus were the ones that managed to best explain what I am; according to Hindu folklore I’m a Trumurti. An all powerful being whose power can create, protect, and destroy.” Some gasped loudly, their shock evident on their faces and the wild look in their eyes.

Others rush the injured to Cerberus’s gates, where the guardian beast protects the medical teams. Then it happens. The enemy unleashes their gods. We knew this was coming. We studied the line-up. Whiro, Māori god of the dead, appears first. His reptilian-human hybrid form is pure nightmare fuel. He devours souls—any souls—and grows stronger with every bite. Watching him swallow demons whole is disturbing. Then comes Ahriman, the Iranian god of strife, slithering forward on a serpent body, his face a chaos Picasso would worship. Four horns spiral from his skull, directing bedlam wherever they point.

She tells me. “What do you mean?” I asked her. “Well, a three-headed snake is called a Hydra, but a Chimera is a fire-breathing creature with the head of a lion, the body of a goat and the tail of a snake. But I can see how you mixed up the two of them; they're both part of Greek mythology. But why did you ask about the Hydra? Don't tell me you saw one?” She asked me. “Not really.” I say, and then I wait until we are in the library before I explain I don't want to risk anyone hearing us.

Larasati confirmed. "In the myths of the gods, Makara is called the vehicle of Lord Baruna, the ruler of the ocean. However, Lord Baruna's Makara cannot be around here. This means that if there is a Makara sighting, then it is a monster from the northern sea!" Ki Janggan Nayantaka started to get scared. "Wait a minute, what kind of animal is Makara? Is it a whale?" Arya Santanu was still describing Makara's shape as a whale.

Yesran walked along the shelves with wide eyes, her steps were slow, and then, not wanting to waste time, Yesran began to browse the books on the mythological shelf. Vampire. Nymph. Elves. Siren. And many more non-fiction books that tell the origin of mythological creatures from various continents. As many people know, vampires are blood-sucking predators, Elves are fairies who have extraordinary powers, and sirens are mythological creatures who guard the sea. Yesran put the book about Siren back on the shelf, then her fingers moved to the next books. Yesran's fingers stopped moving. Yesran's eyes narrowed when she saw the writing on the dark blue cover book.

Zahir said. “Oceans? There were creatures with super-consciousness like us in the oceans?” Zeve asked. Zahir looked at her, “yes, your highness. Werewolves, vampires and sorcizens inhabited the land and mer-people and sirens inhabited the oceans. Their upper bodies looked like us, but their lower bodies were that of a fish.” “Wait! What! This is insane! They were fantasy creatures, not real!” Lucella said. “Just because they are fantasy doesn’t mean they aren’t real. Fantasy is nothing but a recreation of a creation that our minds couldn’t comprehend, but eyes remembered, royal doctor,” Zahir said in a calm, respectful tone.

It was a supermassive tiger—over a hundred meters long. What the hell?! He was clearly using sonar, yet he still rubbed his eyes in disbelief, as if he had misread it. He tried again and launched a third scan. Buzz— The sonar wave bounced back, and this time, he saw Ray's "third form": a massive bird engulfed in flames, as if burning from within. Suddenly, he understood. These were the divine beasts from Gohaven's mythology—Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird…
