He had contemplated rejecting her, as his heart still belonged to another he had lost to death's cold grasp. However, her request only fueled his determination to resist. A confusion clouds my mind, but what is even more confusing is that the pain that I was feeling moments ago was soothed by hearing this word from his mouth. "Yeah, mate."
