Hob's Fall Cave Novels & Stories

I inhaled and moved forward. Nearing the goblins I could hear their snitches and incomprehensible words. I sealed my lips tight afraid that I let out any sounds that would possibly endanger my group mates. When I was near enough to see the flag a stalactite just an inch before me cracked and fell down. The time went slow motion for me, it was already impossible to stop the fast plunging of the stalactite. The rock made a thumping sound on the stone floor echoing all throughout the dungeon. Silence fell for a moment, the goblins slowly looked up, and I stopped breathing.

Linda shouted. I started to feel a pain in my heart. There's no way that snake would agree to drink it. Especially if she knows it would be in our favour. "What am I supposed to do now?" I said. "Don't worry we will figure something out." Pablo assured me. "Let's just find her cave first." Pablo said. A black hole suddenly appeared underneath us all and well fell in. Before we knew it we were back where we had left. The collapsed wall. "Well at least something good has happened for once." Linda said.

Fortunately, the area was clear of any dangerous creatures. Bob grabs a nearby vine and he slowly makes his way down. He reaches the bottom of the tree safely without any monsters harassing him. Once on the ground, Bob immediately goes to the shiny rocks in front of the cave. Oooh… blue… Oooh… red… Oooh… yellow… Bob starts gathering the stones he thinks are fitting for his bed. After filling up half his fur bag, Bob looks at the entrance of the cave. When he first came to the entrance of this cave, he managed to find a psion stone just outside of it but he hasn’t seen one since he started gathering his shiny stones.

He sprang through the opening; with all the atoms of his remaining strength, lifted his head. What Herbog found in the cave is still a mystery, only as it is known that his reputation and economic state jumped drastically.

We managed to escape the Goblin’s wrath and ran from the chaos. At the very side of the waterfall, where the big rocks were, there, we landed. The water was drastically falling from the cliff. I could see up here how forceful the impact was. If I fell from here, I would probably drown deep into emptiness. Being this close to the fall made my ears heard nothing but its ravishing sound. The splashes was making us wet. “There is a cave at the back of this waterfall. A secret passage will lead you to Zendaya. The Goblin can’t penetrate once it is closed. Go inside, I will help your friends reach this peak.” he explained in hurry.

He saw an opening at the top of the cave, from which water was cascading down, forming a natural waterfall within the cave. Not only was there light, but a water source as well. This place was indeed suitable for habitation. The Hag was reclining in an old, worn-out rocking chair, gently rocking back and forth, humming an indistinct tune. Her voice was raspy, and her singing sounded eerie and unpleasant. Upon hearing their approach, she abruptly stopped singing. She opened her eyes and glared at them, her gaze cold and filled with disdain. “What do you want? If you don’t want to die, leave my place at once!”

I didn't have a room. "Skylar!" Hearing his voice had my heart racing with fear, I walked down the stairs to meet him in the hallway. There was a door under the stairs, probably to the basement which is where they made me sleep last time. My step-father stood there with the door open. Suddenly he shoved me and I slipped, falling down each step. Rolo barked and growled at him, earning a kick for himself before he too got locked in the basement with me. I swear I heard him lock it with a key. There were three lights down here, they were fairly dim, the floor had been carpeted thankfully, a single mattress lay in one corner of the room no bedframe, a dog bed next to it with the dogs food and wa

This hallway was bigger than the last and had some large formations of rock to hide behind at least. The smell that filled my nostrils from last night quickly invaded them again; we were getting closer to where I had been. There was not one part of this cave that was even remotely dry even the three of us were covered in water from head to toe. As we moved through the cave, we heard something move. A large boulder had gotten loose from the wall and was tumbling towards us. Sylvia and I jumped out of the way at the same time, but Tony was a little late and the boulder came crashing down on his leg.

Although his hands were still tied behind him, I highly doubted he would just hide if there was an attack. Leading the way, Robert gazed down at his map before holding up his hand causing us all to stop. "Right down there is the cave." Walking off, I watched him fade behind some trees. I still didn't understand how he knew, but then again he did work for Toban. Following behind him, we rounded the trees to see a cliff. Frowning, I was guided towards the cliff. Gazing down I noticed it was at least a ten-foot drop to the water below. Gazing up at Robert, I noticed he had a smile.

The Vapour trench ran all the way around that mountain. Orbin leapt clear over the 30m wide trench; it was deep. Orbin landed safely on to the other side, it was effortless to him. The unicorns carrying the girls flew over the trench gracefully. On that other side of that trench was the sanctuary for lesser animals: The herbivores. The Hobitoes looked like squirrels that hopped like mini kangaroos; a group of Hobitoes hopped in a throng over to Orbin, they were about 7 of them. They were his pets, they seemed pleased to see him. They made pleased purring sounds like cats. Unfortunately, he had no treats for them but that did not stop them from rubbing themselves against his massive legs.
