Hob's Fall Cave Novels & Stories

Just as he was about to leave, there was a crash behind him. He looked back and saw two rabbits running away in a hurry. Kiran did not hurt them. He just thought those rabbits seemed happy together. Rumble! Suddenly, a noise came from the rabbits’ direction. Kiran curiously hurried over and saw that the two rabbits had fallen into a deep hole. The hole was about one meter in diameter, and it looked bottomless. Kiran was reminded of the cave in Mount Mordor, so he jumped in right away. The walls of the cave were smooth, so nothing obstructed his way down. It got cooler and breezier as he got lower. It felt like a spring breeze at first, then autumn, and finally winter.

The sky grew lighter, and humans would leave their fortress searching for the weapon. Feeling the urgency, the hobgoblin picked up his pace and told the magicians to start tracing the airflow. They were looking for any caves in the area with mining activity. Open caves were too obvious. Dwarves were cautious creatures. They would conceal the caves inside a mountain, but even so, they could not conceal all the unusual airflow that went into tiny cracks. After nearly an hour of investigating unusual airflow in mountain cracks, they found a green and mossy stone slab concealing a rather small entrance. It was smaller than entrances humans made and not tall enough for the hobgoblin to go through

Rose asked. “These goblins really aren’t your average ones. They seem to have a system in their group. Which means that they have a leader. Their leader is probably a hobgoblin, I can’t be sure though,” Matthew said. Matthew took a short breath before continuing. “We’ll attack them at noon, when they are most probably asleep. They would have two guards staying at the entrance and another four on patrol not far from the fence. We’ll move silently and quickly. The cave is gonna be pretty tight to move, my sword might be too long to be swinging inside.”

said the male voice. "The structure of this cave is unique. Every 10 days, an extremely strong vacuum will be created at its entrance," continued the female voice. "It lasts for three minutes every time," the male voice added. "That's why I said that your ancestral burial ground must have caught fire, resulting in you having such extraordinary luck. If the timing of your fall had not coincided with the creation of the vacuum that day, you wouldn't have entered the cave..." the female voice said, continuously marveling at Ding Hao's luck.

Howard called out and strode deeper into the cave, the rest of the group hot on his heels. They had not gone far when they came upon a towering stalagmite, rising like a sentinel two meters tall. Howard gave it a once-over, his eyes narrowing. "Sir, is there an issue with this rock?" Sabertooth asked, reaching out to graze the stone with his fingers. The moment his touch grazed the stalagmite, a subtle shudder rippled through the cave, dislodging pebbles from the ceiling. "Watch out!" Howard's voice boomed.

“It leads directly beneath the central laboratory.” Grace smiled. “So we bypass the defenses.” “Exactly.” Isabella frowned. “There’s one problem.” “The tunnel collapsed years ago.” Gabriel shook his head. “No.” “I collapsed part of it.” “There is another way through.” Ethan leaned closer to the screen. “Show us.” Gabriel tapped a section beneath the mountain lake. “A submerged access shaft.” Marco blinked. “You expect us to swim into a mountain?” “If you want to reach the Board before the countdown ends…” “Yes.”

The ground heaved, rocks exploding as the cave trembled. The void writhed, trying to retaliate but we held firm and my wolf shrieked within me, hers answering in perfect counterpoint. It was not sacrificing the abyss demanded. It was balance and balance was what we had finally found together. The cave was radiant with light and there was complete silence for a moment. The void was gone. The darkness scattered into dust and all that was left were the hollow echoes of what once was the oppressive presence that had choked the air was gone and, in its stead, something I hadn't felt in years.... We tumbled downward, our screams drowned out by the cacophony of falling rocks and crumbling earth. As we plummeted into the abyss, I couldn't help but wonder what awaited us at the bottom. The darkness enveloped us, swallowing us whole as we hurtled toward an uncertain fate. As the world spun around us, I couldn't shake the sinking feeling that we were about to face our greatest challenge yet. As we fell, Sophia's voice cut through the chaos, her words strained with urgency. "Hold on tight!" she shouted, her voice barely audible over the roar of the collapsing cavern.

Khloe didn't stop and it felt like she was running in circles, she kept running until she tripped and fell. "Ah!" she let out a short yelp. she felt the stinging pain in her ankle but her fears beat any pain. She looked around her and found an opening. "The cave!" she crawled towards the opening, funny enough she was able to see in the darkness of the night. there was a carving on the boulder and it seems it is covering the opening to the cave. she used her hand to delineate the carving on the opening, the carving was of a man, his hands slightly covering his face like he was shying away from the carved sun slightly above him.
