So I left it, settling on exploring my new home instead. Today I found myself in a cosy study, still a considerably large room, but smaller than most that I had come across. It reminded me of Lilith’s living room, dark red wood seemed to domineer the room in here. A large inglenook fireplace flanked by a large suit of armour on each side. Over the mantel was a battered shield that had seen better days and two swords, mostly likely longer that I was, crossed at the back of it. A coat of arms could be made out under the battered metal, to me in looked like a half goat half man creature, holding a large raven in one hand and a snake in the other. I assumed it must belong to the Caine family.

Stripping off my clothes, I left them and my bag under a redwood tree, then I let Rose take over. "Let's run to our heart's content! Then we'll take a bath in the river," I said to her. Under the luminous gaze of the full moon, I felt an irresistible force surging through my being. My heart quickened with anticipation. It's funny how a situation can change a person. From the corner of the table, I noticed an odd box that drew me in. Getting off the bed, I neared it and trailed my hand along the antique look of it. I knew I should open it, but it felt as if I had to. Denying my warning, I opened it to look at these letters that were handwritten specifically to Sinister. Beneath the letters, was an odd sliver chain which felt so beautiful in the hand yet so mysterious. The doorknob suddenly shifted, and I hastily put everything back in the box and jumped on the bed where I originally was. I am such a snoop, it's so embarrassing.
