Peter's POV Draco walked in front of Enzo and me as we made our way to the underground torture chambers. The journey that normally took about 1 hour took just 35 minutes to complete. Draco's deathly aura when he entered the van indicated he was in one of his worst moods, which was very surprising considering he had been with the lady boss just a few moments ago.

Opening one of them would feel as if I am accepting the invitation, no the demand, to attend here. I'm here physically. Doesn't mean my heart or mind is. And my aunt hadn't even packed one book! She must have been so upset to forget to toss any in with my clothes. I stare down at the cold soup on a tray next to the list of tomorrow's classes. 8-9: Magical History 9-10: Magical Theory 10-11: Spells and Hexes 11-11:30: Lunch 11:30-12:15: Gym 12:20-1: Potions

I stared at the scroll for a moment before unrolling it, the crisp parchment crackling beneath my fingers. There was the coiled serpent artwork at the right, and the heading was written in dark ink with striking precision: We don’t teach simple spells here. We teach control. Power. How to survive. Below it was a list, neatly divided into Basic Classes and Main Disciplines and the moment I read through them, the soup in my stomach churned. Basic Classes:

This time it was Kehlani who had been quiet that chose to explain to Rose before Sandra could. “Just like Kel said, the classes are also divided like that as well. The classes in our high school are the Purple crystal class known as the special section, Blue crystal class special section 2, Green crystal class and Yellow crystal class. In terms of student and teacher quality, the Yellow crystal class couldn’t compare to any of the classes in front of it, especially the Purple class. Most of the talented students in the city were concentrated in this class, and so it had quite the reputation. Most of the students that came out of the Purple class all got into prestigious universities as well

’ She bit her lip and held back a sigh. She knew about the sorting system. It was all in the handbook. There were four houses students were sorted into based on, obviously, what type of supernatural they were. Lupercalia for werewolves, Nosferatu for vampires, Ignis, and Antheion for phoenixes and faes, respectively. Humans would be sorted into one of them based on which they had the most affinity to. But according to the Headmaster, it was better for Layla to stay in a rundown cabin instead of endangering the lives of other students. “I stay in a separate dorm,” Layla simply stated, hoping she doesn’t question further.

At last everyone had introduced themselves. Mr. Barclay smiled ‘okay everyone today we’ll be discussing about the basics of being an elemental’. As he said this, the word ‘basic’ made out of fire appeared in the air, the whole class was surprised and some clapped. ‘He has to be at least phase 3 to do that’ Tasha whispered to ivory who in turned agreed. ‘Why can’t I see any witches or healers’ ivory asked Natasha. ‘This is an elemental only enlightment class not a general class; you can’t expect a fire elemental to teach healers or witches’

" Me." " Yes, you are a witch. You will be having magic spells class and magic portion class. In spells class, you will be learning to learn more spells and how to improve yours and will even have duals with other students. Sometimes, they will have injuries but you are a confident girl so I guess you can manage it. Then in portions class, you will be practically creating portions, and marks will be given according to your performance and result in creating the portion perfectly in time."

Guess it is easier to manipulate girls without parents. We are currently 11 girls in his little group. We are sent to school a special school where you are split up into groups depending on what you are good at. Group 1 and 2 are slaves and pets. Their classes are basically the same. They learn how to run a household properly. Pets however have an extra class that they need to take and that shows to use your body to please their masters. Group 3 and 4 are the blood bags for the vampires and the witch test subjects. When you land in these groups, your death is basically guaranteed.

A chorus of ‘Hello, Headmistress’ rang out into the room. “Hello, everyone. Are you all excited for the start of the school year?” I asked, sweeping my eyes over nearly a dozen heads. The girls in the class were virtually all of the same age. Here at the Magisterium, we grouped classes based on skill level. All that mattered was that these young pupils were beginners. At the end of their third year, they’d be evaluated and sorted based on their individual magical callings. After their excited string of ‘yes’s’ died down, I turned to Clara and waved the roster sheet that I held in my hand.
