Wolves & Magic (Ambersky Pack Series Book 1-3)

Wolves & Magic (Ambersky Pack Series Book 1-3)

"Who are you?" "My apologies if I startled you, my Prince," he said with a curt bow. "You may call me Charles, Your Highness. I’m the custodian." "Why does a library need a custodian? What are you protecting?" I asked, and he said, "The books." I inquired further, "What do you mean, the books?" "Well, the books are the most important thing in the library," answered Charles. I studied his lack of expression anxiously. He gave nothing away—not even a smile. "All right, Charles. I’ll admit, I’m not familiar with this room in the castle, but something led me here. How long have you been the custodian of the library?"

Marked By Moonfire

Tonight, she needed answers that lived beyond reason. At the base of the final stair, she found the heavy door. She pushed it open slowly, the hinges creaking like a groan from the earth itself. Inside, the librarian was waiting. He was impossibly old — his hair long and white as bone, his eyes dim but alert. His name was Eldritch, the keeper of the archives, said to have served three Alphas before Kilian. He didn’t seem surprised to see her. “I wondered when you’d come,” he rasped, his voice echoing softly off the stone. “They always come when the world begins to burn.”

she begged and pinched her brows, making a look of helplessness. "Every written word is important, Lorraine. It's rather better to ask for a summary of the book than say 'only the important part of the book', okay?" Herla corrected her. Lorraine remembered her school librarian. This would have been the exact same response they would give to anyone who insinuated there's a part of a book that was less important than another. "Are you a librarian?" Lorraine's eyes followed Herla as she flapped her wings. "Yes. I used to be a librarian."

The Magic of Irina

The Magic of Irina

It was almost mid-day. The bell would be heard soon. Mrs. Letty walked in hurry with a rolled parchment in her hand. Since the truce had been settled, many scholars granted an access to the forbidden section by the Elder. As a librarian, it was her duty to assist them. It should be a busy time for both Lucas and her. But it turned out just her busy time. She didn’t see Lucas since he went out to pick up the books and parchments from the only school in town.

Grow with me

Grow with me

The restaurants are busy with people getting their coffees for work. I pull into the parking lot and head towards the old building. The large wood doors were hand carved, and I always appreciate their beauty. I look around the room filled with rows of many books; old and new. I am looking for the librarian, her name is Amelia, she had been a very close family friend for years. She is also a very powerful witch. Amelia has the power of telekinesis, which means she can move things with her mind. She should be able to show me newspaper articles that are not available to the public.

She’d adore the wide array of books here, though I don’t think she’d like the constant threat of danger. The Librarian’s that roamed the restricted section were just another facet of dark magic. Their limbs were humanoid, but longer and skinnier than normal. Their heads held actual hair, but that only served to make them more horrifying. Greasy hair hanging low, past sunken faces with gaping, contorted mouths. A sickening crunch sounded, followed by small snaps and cracks. Every time this creature moved, it’s bones grinded and clattered together.

Amy
Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

Nemesis Of The Lycan Triplets

Nemesis Of The Lycan Triplets

With a faint smile, I decided to explore the shelves, my curiosity piqued by the prospect of uncovering hidden secrets within the pages of dusty tomes. My first class teacher would have to forgive me. Approaching the front desk, I greeted the librarian, a stern-looking woman peering at me over the rim of her glasses. "Excuse me, do you have any books on magic beasts?" I inquired, trying to sound nonchalant despite the excitement bubbling within me. The librarian's expression softened slightly, her curiosity evident as she regarded me. "Magic beasts, you say?" She murmured, her gaze assessing me intently before nodding towards a distant corner of the library. "You'll find what you're looking

Red Moon Girl: Bride of the Lycan King

"Be careful when borrowing this book. Actually, you can't take these books out. But since you got a special reference from someone, then I allow you." "Thank you very much," I kept saying to the librarian. I also hugged the three books that were quite thick and heavy and hurriedly left the library. While walking, I always try to avoid people. I don't care if they know me or not. I was really wary after the last incident. Warlocks can camouflage and disguise themselves as anyone. They can even hide the red mark on the forehead. "Wait, Jonea!" call someone from behind. I stopped and turned my head. "Why do I have to meet him in a place like this? Why did he say my name? I'd better run away and

Gothic School (Vampire And The Witch)

She ran into several dorm residents who stared at her in astonishment. Lyla descended the stairs quickly, then walked out of the building, and stepped into the library building that Louisa had pointed out a moment ago. "Name?" asked the short-nosed and pointy-eared creature with wrinkled pink skin. At first glance, he looked like an old man, with minimal white hair, showing his scalp. His name is Mister Burgog---a Goblin---the librarian. "Lyla Helliwell." Mr. Burgog wrote Lyla's name on a small piece of paper then took a duplicate and put it in a drawer.

THE CROSSED WORLDS WITH HIGH HUMAN RACE

THE CROSSED WORLDS WITH HIGH HUMAN RACE

Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish Highlands November 23rd, 1992, 1:55 PM As the house-elf, Parchy, popped out, Madam Pince was looking at the place that it was before. "We have house-elves just for the library?" She asked, looking back at Susan. "Yes, we have. They are specialized in library and book care, organization, and book recovery. Their magic works so much better than a wizards' to repair the pages of a book that there is no way to compare both."
