Humans don’t have wings! I looked up at his face again, and I gasped. The color of his eyes had changed completely. They weren't the same dull, coal-black eyes I had seen every time he stared at me in school or at the canteen. No… these eyes were bright, burning with a fierce, intense color—hazel brown, deep and rich, but filled with something terrifying. There was pure anger drawn within them, blazing like fire.
