I stop and glance at Tagan standing at the hallway with Aiden and Tove. "You can do this Celine!" I whisper and start to walk through their place. "Hello, Tagan," I almost shutter while pronouncing his name but it's a good thing not. "Hi," Tove greeted me even though Tagan was the name I mentioned. "Cheese Cake for you" I lifted the box of Cheese Cake for Tagan to see. "I don't want it," Tagan said irritated, and looked at me badly. “It’s delicious to make it’s a mix of blue berry cheese cake and cherry glaze,” I said. I want to convince him that it is delicious so that he will accept it this time.

“Very well. I’ll make a note of your preferences. If the groom has any specific requests later, we can always accommodate them.” Hailey grinned at her friend. “Alright, let’s dig in.” They began testing the cakes, each one more luscious than the last. Hailey found herself enjoying the experience more than she expected. Jane’s exhilaration was spreading, and her mother’s presence provided a calming constancy. “Your wings are so pretty.” “I know right.” She flew in front of his face and swirled in the air, spewing magical glitters that she produced when she was happier. “Oh, I brought you a honey cake.” He slipped a hand inside his shirt and produced a small parcel carefully wrapping with leaves. “My mom makes the sweetest honey cakes in Selene.” “I never ate honey cakes.” Her mouth watered at the sight of the soft pastry she only saw from a distance before. “Here.” The kid broke a small piece that would fit in her palm and gave it to her.

“Um…okay, I guess. Thanks.” Cassie nodded weakly, handing the mug to the girl. “It’s chamomile tea, it helps with stress.
