His wise eyes sized me up. I knew I must look like hell—red eyes, wrinkled clothes, reeking of despair. He cut me off. "So, you know where she went. But do you know why she had to go?" I froze. "Damien, do you know what The Claws represent?" The Elder stood and walked to the window. Of course, I knew. The top werewolf security organization in the world. Directly under the royal family. Only the best of the best from every pack made it in.

This was not the way he saw this going. Pux instructed Renny to open a bridge to the barrier of the Nether, and Laci stood beside the Warrior's Blade, the two women clasping hands as Laci lent her power with auras to Renny's power to focus on the barrier. The Warriors stood in a line between the two women and the portal to the barrier, their swords held in front of them, points raised. Their cosheys stood beside them, backs straight, heads high as each waited to pay homage to the sacrifice of Rose and Alex.

Her hands tightened on her glaive as she looked toward Selene. “They’re slaughtering each other,” she said, her voice trembling with fury. “And my brother is leading them.” Selene hesitated. “If you go now, you might tip the scales… but at what cost?” Liora’s golden aura flared dangerously. “I’ll do what Mother couldn’t. I’ll END this war.” She leapt from the sanctuary walls, transforming midair into her wolf form—a massive creature of golden light streaking across the night. Scene Five: The Hollow Sun Awakens

He now stood victoriously atop his uncle's back, roaring like a tiny alpha. “You’ve raised a barbarian,” Gunner grunted good-naturedly. Tora sipped her water and shrugged. “He’s half wolf. Comes with the territory.” Cheyenne plopped down beside her, handing her a cupcake. “I swear Liora is part gremlin. She just tried to barter a juice box for someone’s soul.” “Her father’s daughter,” Tora said, eyes twinkling. “Hey now!” Jax called from where he was attempting to string glowing phoenix feathers across the canopy with Thorne and Tyler. “I heard that!”

She had beaten him The crowd exploded with cheers– each pack flashing their flags and shouting. The impossible had happened. The feared Draven Duskbane, heir of the Duskbane pack defeated before all Liora's knees trembled and she fell to the ground. She had proven herself. She had done it — The victory ceremony began. The warriors were called forward and one by one, their names shouted and their glorees sung. Liora stepped into the circle, her mask still in place, her body in pain but her head held up high.

He trained to command troops like a warlord, and then he had to become a leader for the people. "Believe in yourself; at the very least, you are not a slave. And I appreciate it when you take me to a healer. I believed my life was nearly over," Lora stated. She didn't care anymore; her clothes were dirty, and even if there was a man behind her, Harvey wouldn't be interested in an anorexic woman like herself. Alas, even individuals like those ended up being defeated with such ease by several of the female bodyguards. "Damn it! They have a level four warrior king and five level three warrior kings among their ranks!" Lou, the level four warrior king, had an extremely sour expression at that moment and endured the pain as he got up.

“Then someone… lied.” At dawn, Liora stood on the walls, Below her, hundreds of warriors prepared for the eastern march. But her eyes were on the horizon. And in her mind, she heard her own voice. But colder. Familiar, And wrong. “You can’t save them all, Queen. Especially not when one of them… is already lost.” She spun. No one was there.
