"I will kill all the members of your family if you do not offer yourself to me. I will bring you to the situation when you will intentionally come to me and plead to save your family members by offering yourself to me." Amara walked helpless towards the haunted mansion. She felt numb and lifeless for the happenings around her. The words of the sage begin to ring in her ears. "It will be the dark night without the moon, the onset of heavy storm and the shrill howls of dogs. There will be an unfathomable clamor present in the atmosphere, the unwelcoming cries of the eagles and the uproar of tumult yowls from everywhere around will be the indication to alert you it was the one and only day in y

The only light now came from the thin gap under the door—faint hallway glow that slowly dimmed as Lily turned off the lights upstairs. Hours passed. Or maybe minutes. Time dissolved in the black. I sat on the cold floor, back against the unyielding door, whispering her name like a prayer. My mind raced through every horror movie I’d ever seen, but none prepared me for this: the monster didn’t look like a beast. It looked like me. It sounded like me. And my daughter had believed it. I thought about the “C9” boxes—Christmas decorations, year 2009 or something trivial. Now the label felt like a mocking code. C9. The Monster In The Basement.

At ang nakakairita, ay wala na ngang naitutulong, nag-iinarte pa at pana'y reklamo pa. "Gosh, this is outrageous! Ba't kailangan ako pa i-toka nila sa paghahanap ng mga dirty woods na 'to?" paghihimutok niya sa isang tabi. "Can't they see the place is scary? And–gaah! Ang daming lamok! Mamaya magka-rashes pa ako rito!"

“I remember his grandma whispering something to him, and he had this evil look on his face. I was too tired to mind it at that time, but some words sounded like Latin. Whenever we went back to his place, he would promise that he would be a good father if we got married. He also promised that I would always be protected by him, not because he had money, but because he had friends that would always stick by my side. He mentioned spirits, but I just assumed he meant angels.” I could feel a sudden chill, and by the looks on Perry and Izzy’s faces, they did too. They both knew that something was with us, but no one wanted to acknowledge it. “So, let me get this as straight as I can without being

“I believe you Polly, everything you said about this place is true…its haunted! At first I only felt it,but now… I have seen this evil with my own two eyes!” “Oh God!”Polly gasped. She wasn’t crazy after all.The last five months had been nothing but sheer torture.Even Royce thought she just had a fanciful imagination, but now her own sister had become privy to the manor's supernatural aura. What was this darkness clouding her marital home? What did it want? “I was getting dressed,”Ginny continued.”All of a sudden I felt the room grow cold.I thought I must have left the window open, but when I checked it was closed. The cold seemed to come from everywhere.”

Hindi lang ito basta isla—it was a graveyard, and every restless spirit here wore my face. Napadpad kami sa dulo ng hilagang bahagi ng isla, pilit na tumatakas mula sa mga anino ng gubat. My breath was shallow, bawat hininga ko ay may kasamang lasa ng abo. Dante was dragging me through the thick mud, his obsidian arm sparking violently, making a low, dying hum that echoed the fear in my chest. "Dante, kailangan nating tumigil," I gasped, my voice cracking. "I... I can't breathe."

Napahaplos ako sa leeg ko at umiling. "N-no?" "You're lying!" Ano ba? Teka nga, hindi niya ba nakikita na nasa gitna kami ng kaguluhan? There's a big horrifying monster behind us tapos eto siya... nagmamaktol na parang bata.

“You remember my girlfriend, Akira Basilio.” “They know who I am.” Akira grinned before waving a hand towards the tombstones. “Hello.” The burnt candle wicks crackled and it made the flames dance for a second, almost as if Nanang and Papang were actually present there responding to their gestures. All Soul’s Day pulled emotion and symbolism from anyone who has lost someone, but Akira knew better. She knew that flames dancing was just the wind, weird images in the mirror were just lighting tricks, and sleep paralysis demons who watch people in their sleep were just products of an overactive imagination.
