"Aaahhh! Help! Save me! I’m on fire! It hurts! Help me!" Chloe woke up to the nurse's screams. The hazy operating room greeted her with a thick cloud of smoke, causing her to cough uncontrollably as she regained consciousness. Each breath felt like a struggle as if her lungs were being weighed down by an immense stone. Her gaze fixated on the horrifying sight of the nurse covered in fire, leaving her frozen with terror. Boom! In an instant, a deafening crash filled the room as an iron structure fell from the ceiling, crashing down on the nurse. She instantly fell silent. Only the crackling of burning flesh and skin could be heard.

It took four male nurses to restrain Grey from beating up a doctor when he opted to unplug the life support two days after. "Good morning Mr Grey!" Hannah the day nurse filled the room with her lively spirit. Her hand holding a bowl with soap and towels to her waist. "Morning Hannah is it time for her bath!?" Grey turned to her hoping to avoid a lecture. Hannah had been he's nurse when he was in that same bed, she held a happy spirit behind hospital scrubs and a dome of red hair. She had an angelic smile but Grey knew she can turn berserk in a split of a second.

I watched as she prepared a syringe, the metallic glint reflecting the harsh lighting. My heart raced, and panic gripped me. "No, no!" I pleaded, my voice bordering on hysteria. "What if they come back? What if they finish the job?" The fear in my voice must have made me sound unhinged, judging how the nurse's gaze shifted, her eyes filled with a mix of sympathy and confusion.

The man I should fear, should despise, should push away. But in his arms, the nightmares never came. And that realization alone terrifies me more than any dream ever could. The door opens with a slight sound as a nurse comes in with a bowl in her hand. She settles a table in the bed in front of me as she places a bowl of soup in front of me. All to mechanically. She gives me a curt nod and heads back out of the room.

As I grappled with the dark reality, I realised that she was little more than a weapon in their relentless quest for control. After twisting and turning down several dimly lit hallways, we finally arrive at an open door. Beyond it, the rhythmic beeping of machines fills the air, echoing the critical nature of the scene. Inside, I spot Bianca, her expression a mixture of fear and anxiety as she gazes at the sterile environment. "I can't do this," she whispers, her voice trembling with dread. "We have no choice, Bianca. I need a nurse's assistance," the doctor murmurs, urgency lacing his tone as he stands resolutely in the chaos. "They're all dead."

I stepped up and kicked the door open. Inside, the nurse, Clara, jumped back, letting out a scream. She was smaller than I imagined, looking more like a frightened aunt than someone involved in anything dangerous. She pressed herself against the sink and clutched her phone as if it could protect her.

Just as she was about to make her exit, her eyes met the piercing gaze of Doctor Hannah, who had been silently observing from the doorway.
