" Things were quiet for the next three days. I kept checking in, and Chester kept reassuring me, no weird dreams, nothing out of the ordinary. He even tiptoed around the idea of seeing a shrink, but I was not having any of it. Just when I started to relax, that's when it happened. Chester did not come home one night, and his phone might as well have been a brick. That old, uneasy feeling crept back in, and I bolted for the cemetery. There he was, sitting by my dad's grave, a mouthful of pâté and a half-empty glass of whiskey, toasting the air. My heart twisted in my chest. "Don't you dare eat that! Spit it out, now!" I dashed over, pounding on his back, desperate to make it stop.

I asked softly. "Not anymore," he replied, his voice gentler than I'd ever heard it. Soon, Lily fell asleep, her little face flushed like a contented kitten. When I opened my eyes, I found myself inside a game world. The title "Family of Four" screamed wholesome parenting sim to me. I quietly looked around at the other players who had entered with me. A lot of them were terrified of this new environment, and several men were cursing loudly. Among the crowd, a veteran player named Mike Bates started explaining the situation. "This is an infinite horror game. The only way to clear it and revive is by getting an SSS rating. Otherwise, you will be killed by the boss." "How do you even get that kind of rating?" a college girl asked.

“Exactly, some groups have experienced more hardship than others. This happened in their backyards, literally, for many of them. When they stopped the events from happening. Gods, I wasn’t there but had it described to me. How do I describe this? Fine, it was like a horror movie. Some of them recognized body parts and saw what happened to their victims.” “How many victims as you call it were there?” “There’s no way to tell. For us, it might take years to find out and we’ll never have an accurate number. As for your people? We do not know and don’t have the evidence to find out. I saw the faces of the people that came back and I don’t think any of them were emotionally or mentally unaffected

It’s an Academy, but how come that it’s dangerous? We’re missing something and I don’t know how I am going to look for that clue because everything seems to be connected. Wizards, Vampires, Werewolves, and Academy. These are the major topics for now, but what if there is tremendous havoc in this world that causes us to be like this? What if our history is the one that gave us tons of conflicts? These are just my imagination and I’m not sure if these are correct because I don’t have any basis but if all of those are connected, therefore I need to collect more information and allies.

Miranda swallowed hard before answering, her voice trembling. Everything was normal… until that day. I was asleep in my room when I woke from a nightmare—blood everywhere, murder, terror. At first, I thought it was just a dream, but soon Mr. Hussein and his wife started having the same visions. Sophia, too. No one in the villa was safe anymore. Fear gripped us. We saw shadows, figures haunting us. I saw one myself in my room. Doors slammed shut for no reason. Strange noises rose from every corner. And when night fell… the house turned into a nightmare. Voices, screams, movements. They only disappeared when we turned on the lights.

I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all. After saying this, I would love and appreciate your feedbacks and things to watch out for when I do edit the book. It would be really helpful and appreciated. Bonus scene ideas too would be great.
