I never would have predicted that this volume would take 272 chapters, I think I got lost in the writing at some point. With the next volume, I will try not to do that, so I can get to the point faster and definitely not make it half this long. I also promise to try my best with the updates. There have been a couple of hiccups with that in this volume. If there is anything else you want me to work on, please write it in the comment.

This has been irritating me for a few days. To the people complaining about how the chapters are broken up, this is not a decision I made myself. I'm doing what I was told to do. GN wants chapters under 1k words to make them easier to purchase. Especially with bonus coins. My chapters tend to be 3-4k words so I HAVE to break them up. The first few chapters that are free I kept at their regular length because they are free, but the chapters starting from where it goes to PTR I was told to make shorter. There are other option on where to read my books if the chapter breaks are that much of an issue.... Leaving negative reviews for something so silly and out of my hands is unfair and really pet

Later! Author´s note: The chapters are divided because of the count of words. When I wrote the story the chapters had 3k or more words, so I am spliting the chapters, this way it will be cheaper for every readers. Thanks for the support. I wait for the comments. Kisses to all of you.

And even if such issues occured, kindly go through the rundown and it will explain all needed to know. When talking about issues, of course issues can occur. Technically, the first series of the Born By Power book; Chaos And Apocalypse had a total of 49 chapters. After a series of edits, the number of chapters ran down to 39. Born by Power may not be the best but it will be of the pleasure of the writer if seen mistakes are pointed out with constructive criticism.

However the opposite might lead to a catastrophic domino effect. The actual problem here was numbers of beasts pitted against a limited stamina of the party members, and yet their numbers kept increasing. Although the fact that Berserk skills increase a user's strength by 2.5 times is indeed alluring, they also send users into a weakened state. Nevertheless, even if they all decided to turn berserk, the simple math would tell them that it was still far from enough. Their rate of killing was lower than the rate of new beasts appearing out of the shadows.

I'm glad to announce that Black River's first part “ Apocalypse Uprising ” is coming to an end. To all who have reached this part, and have started from the very first chapter of this book, I'm truly grateful and I would love to share my heartfelt appreciation for taking your time and reaching this point of this epic journey. [ Finales mark the end of every mega substory (additional plots or sub-plots with more than five chapters that play a major role in the entire plot development ), or book and they are usually in three parts. ]
