How Many Scenes In A Novel Novels & Stories

This chapter was hard to write, and I was constantly warring with myself about whether or not I was a sick and twisted human being, for coming up with this stuff. When I'm writing something, there's a genuine reason why I make it a certain way. I don't create scenes just for the sake of attention. I create scenes to unfold the deeper meaning behind my story. “so, what’s up with you? It’s like you saw some brand new toy while your eyes keep shining” Emma was behind me while I was looking from afar. It was one of the romantic scenes I’ve read in this novel series. Though I am still biased with the second lead, I cannot say that I don’t think these scenes are necessary. After all, it’s what the author and readers wanted to witness. “Girl, you shouldn’t go for his highness, you will only receive heartbreak. I heard many noble ladies keep approaching him but look at that. Isn’t it a rare scene?”

I'm not promising that though 😅. AN: I want you guys thoughts on this question, *sigh*. I'm conflicted, very conflicted on how to describe Nathaniel's character because in my book where I've written the manuscript of this book although, it's a very short story with maybe 28 chapters. I described Nathaniel as a dark lover in my written manuscript but with you guys now, I'm having second thoughts of changing him to cheesy, lovesick guy yet possessive though I've already changed him to that.

Later, I would be able to feel proud that I wrote something about my country’s local myth (screw inconsistencies and lack of information which I patched up with my own imagination). By the way, my apologies if in the end, I did not really reveal any spoiler. Haha. I was just writing down my messy thoughts. Alright. I’m guilty so let me just proceed to answering questions that I know some have in mind. - *How many chapters would The Ascension have? Can’t say for sure, but I estimate, it would be between 200-300. The chapters of this story are long anyway, I believe I would be able to cover everything that needed to be covered with that number of chapters.

That series is intended to have four books, one for each dragon. I'm still trying to figure out a posting schedule with the two books. Richie's story is written in my head and is ready to be put to paper, but The Arena is my husband's favorite. Writing 17-20 chapters a week is tough, but mostly manageable. So I may divide the number of chapters each book gets each week, rather than focusing on one while the other finishes. That would mean one possibly two chapters a day for both books, rather than two chapters a day for one and three chapters a week for the other. I'd love your input and what your preference is.
