Stepping into the vast expanse, I was greeted by the scent of old books and the hushed whispers of fellow seekers of wisdom. "I'll be right here." I get up and wander toward the book sections. The library is organized by subject, with fiction on one side and non-fiction on the other. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, so I just start walking through the aisles, letting my eyes scan the shelves. I pass through the science section, then the history section, then literature. Nothing really grabs my attention until I reach the yearbook section. As I'm browsing through the section, one particular book catches my eye. It's a black book, smaller than most of the others on the shelf, and something about it draws me toward it.

I spent the afternoon sitting and trying to plot everything on a timeline so I could maybe try and do some research later on about the changes that happened to me. I knew googling would not be very helpful and would most probably only lead me to conspiracy websites or fiction novels so that was out. I also didn't know if there was a library in town or even the next town over where I could maybe go and see if they don't perhaps have any books that would be helpful.
