His Beanie Girl

His Beanie Girl

It's so strange and contagious and soon I'm laughing too. "I'm an idiot." I say getting off the ground. "You're an idiot." "I'm pathetic." "You're pathetic." "But I'm gonna learn this." "Ofcourse you are. Now get to it. We don't have all day Christmas. Bring out those dancing feet." He commands. "Asshat," I mutter with a smile getting ready to humiliate myself again. "One two three. Action!" -------------

Shadowboom Unveiling

"Well, get ready for a crash course then." "Christmas is a special time of the year," she explained, her voice filled with warmth. "It's a time when people come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It's a time of love, joy, and giving. We exchange gifts, spend time with loved ones, and spread kindness to others."

Love that heals

Love that heals

But my drive back home was magnificent as winter is fast approaching and my favorite holiday asides my birthday of course, CHRISTMAS! A big part of my Christmas tradition is to give a yearly upgrade to my Christmas playlist depending on what feels on theme for the year! I drove into our aesthetically pleasing mansion, when my face dropped. There was someone in the house Someone with a …… BIKE…… that I have seen before I walked into my house, hearing my father laugh so loud, I can't remember my father's laugh being that loud, who and what is making my father be all cheerful this evening.

Dianette Pickens
I have thought long and hard on how to best review this book and the most simple answer is that if you are looking for a fairytale go somewhere else this book has a real life ending because life is not all rainbows and unicorns. The story line was good but it took me days to process the ending.

She Belongs To The Sky

She Belongs To The Sky

Perhaps that is all Christmas is: Red and white. Little Feats' closing fete is a sombre occasion, suprisingly so. Chideziri made a life sized portrait of the infant Jesus, in a manger, gurgling. Hands reach for him from the periphery. I assume they are Mary's. It's so properly done that looking at it, it could have been an old black and white photograph. For the carol, all the fluorescents are switched off and only candles light the room. It's a sight. A hundred or more candles, glinting against the Assembly hall's blackness. Then time flies and it becomes time for me to perform a poem.

The Phoenix of Winter.

The Phoenix of Winter.

He said as he clapped his hands, looking at his mother's face as she cleared her throat. "It was a beautiful December day" She began, "with clear blue sky and snow-covered treetops. Christmas was in the air but up in Santa’s lodge, all was quiet. The usual hustle and bustle of preparing Christmas presents had gone for Santa had fallen ill. “Oh dear, what will the children say when they don’t receive presents this year,” Santa wondered sadly as he lay on his bed.

The Fated Alpha Queen

The Fated Alpha Queen

Arthur tells me. “What are your Christmas traditions?” Max asks; he’s finally back with us. “Ah, the Christmas spirit is designed for children. The joy of Christmas for adults is seeing the joy on the faces of the pack's pups. Every November, the adults come together to make an activity advent calendar for the pups. An example of this would be; on the 1st of the month, we decorate the pack land. On the 2nd, we hold our official secret Santa draw. On the 3rd, we write out our Christmas cards. On the 4th, we hold our Christmas fancy dress party, and we always put our Christmas trees up on the 13th. We include activities such as watching Christmas movies, Christmas cookie and cake baking, and a

Second Chances Under the Tree

Second Chances Under the Tree

Sebastian raised his eyebrows, clearly impressed, and gave me an encouraging smile. I cleared my throat and started the song: “The fireplace is burning bright, shining all on me, I see the presents underneath the good old Christmas tree...” Slowly, the others began to join in, humming along, their voices blending together in harmony. “And I wait all night ‘til Santa comes to wake me from my dreams, Oh, why? ‘Cause that’s Christmas to me...” I caught a glimpse of Sophie, still silent in the corner. Her eyes were downcast, the frown still etched on her face, as though she couldn’t quite be part of this moment.

Miracle on Hollow Peak

Miracle on Hollow Peak

Grandma’s eyes widened in astonishment, but she still tried to give me an answer. “People love to hate everything, my dear. People like to complain about things they don’t like and they will complain about anything. If something doesn’t go the way they want, they’ll find fault with it. When it comes to Christmas, there’s no exception. People seem to hold this holiday in contempt for various reasons, but the main reason is that something happened in the past. You just can’t hate getting presents, right?” “Right…” I said half-mouthed. It started snowing again, and the flakes danced a chaotic ballet. Some even sat on the windowsill.

Carrying A Baby For The Billionaire CEO

Carrying A Baby For The Billionaire CEO

The flickering lights cast dancing shadows on the walls, creating an ethereal atmosphere that enveloped him. As he stood in awe, a surge of emotions washed over him. He felt a sense of gratitude for the effort put into creating this enchanting scene, and a deep longing for the warmth and togetherness that Christmas represented. It was a stark contrast to his own ambivalence towards the holiday, yet it stirred something within him, a glimmer of hope and joy.
