But one thing is certain, love can save us from drowning in our own darkness. ~~~~~ IT was Christmas Eve. The night that is eagerly awaited by everyone each year. It is also the most relaxing and nostalgic feeling you'll ever experience throughout the entire year of your life. There were many dishes laid out on the long table in our home. These were dishes that we only see during Christmas. Above the ceiling, the light from the big chandelier was shining brightly. Inside the house, various decorations were brought to life by the Christmas lights hanging there. There was also a large Christmas tree standing not too far away. It was white and adorned with red poinsettia flowers. Underneath it,

I curled up with Chris in his bed as we watched a movie. He’s been worried about me over the past week, which I feel bad about. I hate worrying everyone. Chris surprised me with a home-cooked dinner and a movie; A Journey Back to Christmas, my favorite Christmas movie ever. I sighed as we watched, “What’s wrong?” Chris asked; I shook my head, but Chris was not about to take that for an answer. He paused the movie and straightened up, waiting for me to talk to him.

she teased. "Hey, now! I wouldn't go that far." She laughed as a blush colored her cheeks. The choir continued to the next house and then another, singing all of the classic Christmas songs in the folder and even ones that weren't. Of course, they didn't expect anything in return, but one family gave them hot chocolate, and a few others gave donations to the church. In all, they had a wonderful time.

It was a testament to the unity and deep connections we shared. On Christmas Eve, we gathered in the grand hall, the air humming with an electric energy. The flickering candlelight cast a warm glow, as Golder stepped forward, her voice filled with joy and gratitude. She spoke of love, unity, and the true spirit of Christmas. Her words resonated with each pack member, reminding us of the precious bonds that held us together.

Maya's Pov I woke up to someone jumping on my bed. Again. "Merry Christmas! Get up, get up, get up!" Sophie was worse than a five-year-old on Christmas morning. She wore pajamas with reindeer on them and a Santa hat that kept sliding off her head. "What time is it?" I groaned. "Seven. Come on, we open presents at seven thirty. Family tradition. No exceptions." She bounced out of my room, leaving me alone with my messy hair and complete lack of holiday cheer at this ungodly hour.

I say as I get up and give her a big hug before pulling away from the comfort of my friend. “Hey, buddy, calm down.” Mira laughs as she kneels to pet him. “So…” Mira starts, standing back up and looking at me with a glint of curiosity in her eyes. She knows me too well. “How’s it going with Christian?” "Things with Christian are always great... he came by to bring me a Christmas gift," I say as I point to the little box next to my coffee. "What is it?" She asks.

Jennifer chuckled and retorted mockingly, "CEO? Do you really think she became CEO through her own abilities? Without Jeremiah and me backing her up, she's just a useless loser." Charles looked at Jennifer in disbelief. His eyes were filled with shock and anger. Annoyed by the noise, I told the bodyguards to drag the two of them farther away. I crouched alone by the seaside. The winter wind blowing from the ocean was icy and piercing. Little by little, I scattered Noelle's ashes into the sea. I said softly, "Today is Christmas, Noelle. It's also the day you were born. I'm letting you return to the ocean."

Jax never said anything to stop them, but he knew how to make me feel better at night. Eleanor was always all over Jax and it irked me to the depths of my soul. The look she always gave me showed me that she was doing this on purpose to rile me up. Little did she know that I was even more patient than a driver waiting for a snail to cross the road. I let out a sigh as I walked around the beautiful streets of Queens Quay. The moon shone brightly and made the streets look even more beautiful than usual. The Christmas lights decorated the streets and “Last Christmas” was blasting through someone's speaker, while I hummed along.

A cheerful season is upon us once again. And once again the end of the year apporaches, and though the season has come over and over again for many of us, its magic and delightfulness is not lost on us. I am happy to have you celebrating this season with me. And I am grateful to God for bringing us all to the end of another year.
