The Hunter shrieked, its humanoid form flickering, core unstable, energy surging unpredictably. We pressed forward, every strike coordinated, every movement a dance of survival and fury. My wolf surged, claws ripping, teeth sinking, energy spiraling outward in a living weapon. The Hunter’s core pulsed violently, splitting into multiple fragments, each one more powerful than before. It’s adapting faster than we can fight! Azrael shouted. We focused on the largest fragment, the core. Energy surged, claws striking, bond flaring. Each hit caused sparks to erupt, sending debris flying. The forest trembled under the sheer force.

Our father says as he introduces us. The Leader is a woman, she looks at me and then she looks at Austin, before she finally looks at Luna. “I am Kira, the Leaders of the Kitsunes and the Nogitsunes, they are the dark foxes. It is a pleasure to meet you, especially you, Luna Green.” She says. “As I was telling your parents before you walked in, do you know how foxes find their mates?” she asks us.

He was dressed in his red cloak, and he took long steady strides towards Alpha Hunter, like he had no fear of what lied ahead of him. Steadying the hold I had on Alpha Hunter, Christopher was now only steps from him, and I felt Luna Ella give another burst of her love through the link she had now with the magical rope. Christophers hands reached out and he placed them on Alpha Hunter’s head and white light began to glow through the clearing. When Christopher’s hands touched Alpha Hunter’s head, I felt a pull on the magical rope, but then as quickly as it pulled, it relaxed, and I knew Christopher had him.

I watch as a hydra steps out and my eyes widen as I come skidding to a stop. “Oh, shit!” Kodiak says. Oh, shit indeed. How the fuck did she get one of those? They are meant to be in the underworld. I look closer and see it has collars on it’s three necks. It is only young. Even being young, it is huge. Towering over the trees. There is only one thing to do. I look around. I need to find him. I spot him chomping down on someone. Shaking his head violently as the person is split in half.

Hunter, standing two feet away from his cousin, pulled out his gun, cocking it. Klaus’ voice calling his name halted him before he could aim the gun at me. Hunter glanced at his boss, who shook his head. “Let her through,” Klaus said. Kai glared at me as I skirted past him. Hunter flinched when I plucked the pea-size patch from the collar of his leather jacket, his brows creasing. “What the fuck is that?” he asked, his frown deepening.

“Hunji,’ Xander lays a hand on me as try to leave the room. “Tobias has three of the bastards in our cells, the warriors have them locked up. One Hunter and two wolves.” I nod my head “Let me know when you interrogate them, have Tobias link me.” I tell him. Tobias and I can link because we both belong to Riocht. Tobias is still a part of the Kodiak Kingdom and can still link with their members, the same as I can link with pack members of MacTire. “Okay,” Xander tells me and lets go of my arm. “Give Finn some time,” I look between the two bear shifters “He needs to sort through his own mess in his head before he can see reason.”

The four of us stand up when five extremely large men walk in. “I am Kaden, and this is my cousin Alek. These two here are Brent and Lance.” I say. “Hey, I am Curtis, and this is Venom,” Curtis says. “I am Quade, and this is Zion. I am assuming you know Chaos.” Quade states.

Beto asked, feeling confused. “Because there hasn’t been any casualty. The hunters gave up after a few tries too, and even no senior hunters are interested to hunt this thing because it’s annoying. That’s why one of us voted to send the request to the Adventurers Guild.” Kasuga explained. “The Gori-gori is just too smart for everyone to take down. And it’s too annoying for everyone to stay. Some hunters were invited, but due to the agility, they gave up. It’s just like the bigger version of lesser monkey beasts, like Sarupi or Bozinky, so no one return to actually help get rid of the beast. But they helped in taking the last letter shipment since the windlets from Higurashi were scared.” Kas
