I smiled gently. “You have a warrior’s body.” I ran my fingers down a particularly ropey scar down her side. “What was this one from?” “Bobby Brown,” she said. “A werewolf that liked to hunt human children. He had a thing for their hearts. He’d barbecue them.” She shuddered with the memory. “He had killed my client’s nephew. Took me a week but I got him. Brought his heart to my client as proof.” She spoke matter of factly, no pride in her voice. She might not be proud of herself, but I was impressed. I had heard of Bobby Brown and had heard of the hunter that got him. I didn’t realize it was her.

“We will test your skills first by fighting.” They exited the room and went back at the center of the evaluation room. Mr. Ambrose explained the rules of the upcoming fight. “The skill evaluation will be repeated two times. The first one is to know what is level of your skills and the second is to know if you can manage to balance your skills. There are five common skills a hunter has namely: stamina, strength, agility, perception, and intelligence. I won’t tell you what you will be fighting. I believe that will spoil the evaluation.”

The invigilators approached me mechanically and surrounded me. "Leaving during the entrance exam is prohibited. Please return to the exam hall and complete your test." Their identical, lifeless eyes sent a chill down my spine. I quickly weighed my chances of fighting my way out and gave up just as quickly. In the end, I obediently turned back toward the exam hall.
