My scream that no one heard.
My hands trembled. “I saw you die.”
Silence.
I opened my eyes, and he was staring at me, frozen.
“In the vision,” I continued, voice cracking, “Victor kills you. He says you were never meant to have me. And then he drives his claws into your chest and just… watches you fall.”
Luca sat completely still, the color slowly draining from his face.
“I didn’t want to tell you,” I said, words spilling now, fast and heavy. “Because it felt too real. Too final. But if there’s even the smallest chance that this hasn’t happened yet, that it can be stopped… you needed to know.”
