Love, Obsession, Torture
I sniffled loudly, breathing through my mouth.
I felt and looked a mess. I hadn’t stepped outside in three days. I’d locked myself inside, grieving and wallowing in pain and self-pity. I blamed and tore myself apart for falling for yet another cheat, for allowing myself to be drawn in by his charm, his confidence, his alluring mystery, oh, his face. God, that face.
The face that literally looked like a God…his perfect face.
I felt pathetic and disgusted with myself for falling for Jack. I was truly a pathetic sight. Everything he told me had been a lie, just to bed me. And he’d succeeded, utterly in making me fall for him.
