In the little corners of the kitchen, there were clear containers holding muffins that she must've made recently. She must've been quite fond of baking. I set the bowl of bloodied water in the kitchen sink and tossed the ruined clothes into the waste bin. I grimaced as I poured the murky water down the drain, staining the side of the sink. Not wanting to leave a mess, I started working on washing the bowl and the kitchen sink, and all the other dirtied utensils around her kitchen.

I rushed towards it and turned the stove off and lifted the pan up and put it in the sink and turned the faucet on. I had burnt the chicken too. It was completely black. "Fuck me!" I cursed at myself audibly looking at the chicken that was sitting in the sink. "Believe me, I would love to," a voice echoed through the kitchen.

And the entire kitchen had a putrid, rotting scent that almost made me gag. It made me sad, seeing my beloved kitchen like this. I’d designed it myself, right down to the kitchen sink faucet. When I got home, the quiet evening ate away at me. I tried to clean, but all that did was destroy my nails. Each bite was worse than the last, and nothing in my fridge appealed to me. I pushed the remains of my meal down the garbage disposal and turned it on. Instead of the drain clearing, water started to back up into the sink. My initial response was panic until whatever was lodged in the blades cleared, but not before it gave me an idea.

The only thing I find is a gallon of bleach under the sink. It will probably be enough to clean the living room, but that is all it would cover. There just isn’t enough, and it’s not like we are close to a store or anything to get more.
