I Read It In A Book Novels & Stories

The book wasn’t here, yet the words burned clearly across my vision. My breath ceased. I could read the message written on the page. This is not the first time it has happened.

Zayden As soon as I got done showering, I hurried and dried my body and hair, put on my clothes and walk out the door. I see my little mate sitting in the chair I left her in but with a book in hand. I slowly walk over to her and lean on the back of the chair. I notice she is reading my favorite book. Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. “How do you like it so far?” I startled her apparently as she jumped as soon as I asked the question.

"You've read my book!" Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that Ramon read any of my books. I just thought that he stumbled on one of my books online, saw my name on it and did me this big favor as a way to show he's sorry for what he did. But it NEVER crossed my mind that he had actually sat and taken his time to read the entire book.

Something is suspicious about this. The last time I remembered, I stumbled upon a novel. It was an ad that I accidentally clicked which leads me to read chapter one. When I glanced at the book title, I got hooked. Well, who wouldn't get hooked if the title is ‘In the name of a psychopath.’ Because of that title, I immediately got hooked and read chapter one. While reading, I seemed to stumble upon the same name as mine. However, I didn't pay attention to it since it happened sometimes and she wasn't an important character anyway.

I spent ten minutes trying to find a book I could understand, and only when I wandered deeper did I discover that some of the books have been translated to English. I reached for a random one on the shelf, but a more interesting book had fallen to the floor beside me. Picking it up, I was amazed to discover that the pictures in this book were oddly familiar. It was almost as if I had seen them somewhere, and then I immediately recalled my dream from earlier today.

CHAPTER 51 The best thing about nights is that I can finally read a book without any interruption. When it comes to daytime, I feel like everything is going to ruin my reading experience. The first time I tried to read a book on school was when I was in high school. At first it was great to read inside the library, but when people started to treat library as a cafeteria, that’s when I lost my focus and passion for staying and reading inside. Or was I beginning to forget things?” I silently asked myself as I drifted off in thoughts. The book had gone missing in the library…not here in the room. How could I have forgotten something as sensitive as that? “The book was not here…it was in the library”, I said under my breath as I scampered off to the library, hoping that it was opened for me to do my search.

Read enough to understand the quality of what was happening. The first message she read that stopped her was from a woman she did not know, in a city she had never visited, who had apparently read the entire book between midnight and four in the morning and had written to say: I did not sleep. I could not sleep. Every time I thought I could put it down I found I could not put it down because it felt like putting down the only honest thing I had encountered in years. I have been in that kitchen. I have stood at that counter. I did not know anyone else had been there until this morning.

I couldn't contain my excitement as I selected my first book, feeling its rough texture beneath my fingertips. I found a comfortable spot in a cozy nook, nestled among the towering shelves, and began to lose myself in the words.
