Novel & Cerita I Read This Book Yesterday

I managed to throw my legs over the edge of the bed and I peeked at the clock with one eye. 9 o'clock. My eyes went to the two plates again. Lunch and dinner. It was already dawn when Adrian and I went back after our interaction with Samael. I had slept the entire day. Well. Minus the pauses where Adrian demanded full attention from my body and mind. A book on the other nightstand made me crawl to the other side of the bed. Pride and prejudice. "Oh my god." I whispered softly to myself. My fingers touched the worn book. This was the book I read on top of Asta with Adrian behind me. He kept it. A small note peeked from the page. I opened the book on that page and read the neatly written words

What was happening tomorrow and why didn't he say anything else? I exhaled deeply and threw the phone across the bed like it offended me. Slowly, I grabbed the book next to my bed. Make Me Yours Tonight. I used to love it and I have already read it three times. But when I opened the book and tried to read the first page, the words just hung there blank. They did not engage me as they usually did. I closed the book. My phone rang again. I grabbed it quickly, my heart skipping a beat and for a while, I hoped that it was him.

(Kenzo's POV) I walked her towards the train station that night. But when I came back to my apartment I saw a notebook , which she left. "Well I guess I'm gonna return it to her tomorrow morning." Out of curiosity, I opened it and I saw bunch of scheduled dates , with all of the things that we will be doing together on the following day. However the schedule written was all moving backwards . I looked at every pages and it is so difficult to understand .

I woke up the next morning feeling all grumpy, I was in a very bad mood, what Maya said to me yesterday really made me feel disgusted, angry and scared at the same time, I would need to visit the library today so I can get books and read so I can have more knowledge about this madness, I won't be going to the council today because I will be using the day to rest to get ready for my journey tomorrow. I went to the library as I wanted to so I could get the books that I wanted to read.

Chapter 1: Sinful thoughts I lay on the big king size bed in the master bedroom, the sheets already twisted around my legs. My husband had left yesterday morning for his week-long business trip. He had given me the usual quick kiss at the door and promised to call when he landed, but I knew he probably wouldn’t.

"As I've said many times before, we're no longer an item." With that, I turned to leave without another backward glance. Right before I entered the library again, I spotted Zachary from the corner of my eye, still standing at the same spot. His gaze was glued to me, and when he noticed I had faltered in my tracks, his eyes lit up with hope. I didn't stop moving and stepped through the entrance of the library. It was only later that I learned some interesting things through my roommates' gossip.

My confusion deepened. “Why does it look like that? It was new yesterday; I remember because I got it for her exactly yesterday afternoon after someone poured bleach over her old one in the library.” I everyone in the room seemed to stop breathing. A strange chill crawled through me. Yesterday… everything in my head kept drawing me to it. We skipped class, got married, she laughed because I spilled coffee all over my second sketchbook, she promised never to lose her phone because I bought it for her….all was yesterday.

Read enough to understand the quality of what was happening. The first message she read that stopped her was from a woman she did not know, in a city she had never visited, who had apparently read the entire book between midnight and four in the morning and had written to say: I did not sleep. I could not sleep. Every time I thought I could put it down I found I could not put it down because it felt like putting down the only honest thing I had encountered in years. I have been in that kitchen. I have stood at that counter. I did not know anyone else had been there until this morning.

My cheeks flamed at the memory of yesterday’s disaster. I stared at the book. The thing must have held over a thousand pages. How many rules were in there?! It would take months to get through all of them. Well great. Hopefully before then I’d be back home, putting this whole experience strictly behind me and boycotting all fantasy books and novels.
