Lucas' Pov The first scream broke before the blood hit the floor. Drip. Drip. The sound echoed through the room, crawling into my skull. I sat back in the chair, elbows resting on the armrests, cigarette burning between my fingers while the man tied to the steel frame shook violently. He was younger than the last one we broke. Leave me alone—nooo, you’re hurting me!” I scream, thrashing helplessly as the strange man’s grip tightens around my wrist. “Please—please stop!” I cry out, my voice cracking with terror. “Who are you? Why are you doing this to me?” His face is a blur, a haunting smear of shadow and muscle, but the red glow of his eyes pierces through, burning into me. “I don’t know you!” I sob. “Please!”

She pulled her own dagger from its depths and charged. The man jerked in surprise as Saffron burst from the room, screaming and sopping wet as if she were a banshee. The man had released his arm enough that Elric, gasping, was able to pull free. With a shove of his elbow and a sickening crack, the man's face crumpled, and his body fell to the floor. Saffron stared at Elric over the man's lifeless form. He looked up at her and gave her a derisive smile. "We really have to stop meeting like this."

I fold forward. Before I can fall.. His hand grabs me. Lifts me. Suddenly I'm upside down over his shoulder. Like a sack of potatoes. Or kidnapped cargo. "Let's go," Scarface grunts to the other man. Aria’s POV The scream lasted less than three seconds, but it was enough. Enough to make every person in the room freeze. Enough to send a surge of ice through my veins. Enough to turn what had felt like a night of progress into a nightmare. Damien’s face hardened instantly. “What happened?” His voice was sharp, controlled, dangerously calm, the kind of calm people used right before disaster. Static crackled through the phone. Then another scream, further away this time, followed by shouting, running footsteps, chaos.

When it completely neared me I closed my eyes and shouted with all the might I can. I waited for the impact continuing screaming with a very loud voice of mine which I never use to talk. I started slowly reduce my scream because nothing touched me but then I felt something toughing my hand. And then I started screaming even more. “Excuse me miss?” Someone said shaking me. Can car shake a person? I thought and opened my eyes to see a man standing infront of me. I immediately closed my mouth and just started at me. Is he god? Because he sure looks like that.
