I sat on my bed, phone in hand, waiting for Kyle's response. The minutes ticked by, and I found myself checking my phone every few seconds. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, my phone buzzed with an unknown ID which I know it was Kyle . I quickly opened the message, and my eyes scanned the screen. He had sent me a list of questions he had sent to the show, along with the answers he expected me to give. I scrolled through the list, my mind racing with thoughts. Some of the questions and answers were ridiculous , but others were more probing.

"You are quite amusing to listen to but unfortunately-" "Yeah yeah, there's no time is there? Because you want me to answer some questions then you want me to get ready for something which is starting soon. Am I on the right track?" He chuckled again and I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I'm hilarious aren't I? I'm so funny even when I don't try to be, so would you mind telling me the joke? Because I don't understand it at all." I started testing the strength of the handcuffs but they wouldn't come undone.

“Don’t you mean fangtastic?” “I most assuredly do not.” His face was now stern. I rolled my eyes. “OK, got it. Dick jokes are OK but vampire jokes are not. Touchy much?” His mouth was drawn in a thin line “Funny jokes are acceptable. Others should be met with the derision they deserve.” There was a pregnant pause and all silly jokes and puns rushed out of my head, so I settled for rolling my eyes at him as I jumped off the bar stool instead. “Do you have anyone you need to let know you’ll be away?” he asked

"Yes, why? You don't know the game? How can you not know about the game? You ask me a question and I ask you right back and..." He looked so serious trying to explain the game to me that I couldn't help but laugh, really loud at that. "What is so funny?" He asked staring at me like I have grown two heads. I laughed again at how clueless he sounded. Who doesn't know what twenty questions are? "I know all about the game, Jason. I am just surprised that you want to play a game like that... I mean, why will you want to play twenty questions? Are you six or something?" I asked.

" Ian frowned at the question. Ian (8:15 pm) : What kind stupid question are you asking? Irritating Twat (8:16 pm) : Don't know the answer? Ian (8:16 pm): No. Irritating Twat (8:17 pm) : Because it is made out of cells! Haha! Ian gaped at the message for a long time before a small laugh escaped his mouth. The joke was really lame but it was funny.

He responded. “To you. Living so freaking long already would probably make even shitting funny.” I retorted. “It’s not.” “I thought it would be.” “That means you don’t get it.” He shook his head with a regretful expression. I fired back. "I don’t want to. But you should know that not every serious moment needs a joke that only benefits you. If I ask you a question, you’re supposed to give me the right answer.” “I did give you the answer.”

“Of course, you have to answer my question to you. So, what's your answer? The light is on or off?” “All right, on?” then suddenly they shouted. “Ssh, be quiet. Next question ma'am, chocolate or sex? ” “Huh? Wait, choco-” he didn't let me finish speaking, and he immediately changed the question. “Next question, Hotel or motel?” Whatever he asks me, i always feel like i'm on a hot seat. “Hotel?” then they shouted again. “Is it exciting, ma’am? This is the next question. Is he muscular or handsome?”

“What’s your favorite breakfast food?” I smiled. “French toast. What’s your favorite hat?” Logan laughed. “Fez.” Laughing as well, I asked “A fez, really?” He nodded. “I look damn good in a fez. Don’t knock it till you see it.” We had been paying ’20 questions’ for an hour now. We were well past 20 questions and had moved on from the regular favorite color or candy. “What was your mom like?” Logan was quiet for a bit before he asked.

I exit the forum, then immediately type: ‘Random fun questions to ask a friend about themselves.’ Enter. My screen floods with suggestions, lists of icebreakers, “cute couple” quizzes, whole threads about date ideas, random memes sprinkled in. I scroll. And scroll. And scroll. “Oh. That’s actually a good question. I’ll keep that.” Next scroll. “That’s funny… but if I ask it, will I sound weird?”
