Imposter King Novels & Stories

"That thing must be fake! When I came to Matt's pack to get work experience, the Alpha King personally escorted me because he was worried I'd be bullied. I even have proof!" As she spoke, she pulled out the photo of herself with the Alpha King. There wasn't a single werewolf who didn't recognize the Alpha King. The photo showed no signs of editing, which convinced everyone that I was the imposter. "Kids these days are so bold. She even pretended to be the Alpha King's niece! If the King finds out, she'll be kicked out of werewolf society, if not worse!" "She's probably trying to use that identity to land a rich mate. And she hired this many actors, too. How shameless!"

"I... I will not!" "Why, Your Majesty?" Lord Brandon pressed, his eyes burning into mine. "Are you incapable of governing your own emotions?” The whispers exploded into a deafening roar of low murmurs. My chest seized. I couldn't get air into my lungs. Sweat broke out across my forehead, and my hands shook so violently I had to grip the armrests of the throne. He was right. Lucas was right. I wasn't a king. I was an imposter who couldn't even survive a single debate against a real politician.

He struggled, but my grip was firm. Turning my back on the bound imposter, I rushed to Zone’s side, tearing at the ropes that held him. He fell forward, gasping. His face was a mixture of relief and fury as he struggled to his feet. “Serena… Ardan, he—” “It’s not him,” I interrupted in a low tone. “The man you saw wasn’t Ardan. He’s an imposter, the rogue king in disguise.”

They felt the fake sitting on their father’s throne. "Look." Elodie pointed through the iron grate at the end of the tunnel. The Great Hall was a sea of agitation. Hundreds of Blackwood wolves stood in tight, nervous clusters. The air was thick with the scent of ozone and wrongness. On the obsidian throne sat a man who looked exactly like Victor. Every scar, every line around the eyes, the way he tilted his head—it was perfect. Too perfect. "By the end of this moon," the imposter’s voice boomed, vibrating through the vents, "the traitor Elodie Hart will be hunted down. She has poisoned the Alpha King. She carries an abomination. Bring me her head, and you will be rewarded."

A guard stood there, posture stiff, eyes darting like he was being watched. “Cole!” the beta hissed, rushing forward. “You know better than anyone that there’s no way I’d hurt the king…or the queen. The real queen is here. This is all a ploy to destroy the king. He’s been bewitched! That thing outside is an imposter, and…”

The other council members murmured in agreement, nodding along with Kael’s bold accusation. “You’re right,” I said with a cold smirk. “I did make the so-called imposter my mistress. Do you have a problem with that?” I asked, directing my question at Alpha Kael and the others who supported him. Alpha Jace, always the loudest when it came to politics, leaned forward. “But that shouldn’t be, my King. If you treat this matter lightly, what’s to stop anyone else in the kingdom from disrespecting the throne? They’ll believe they can get away with anything. I suggest we punish her and her pack, to set an example to the rest of the kingdom.”

The minister tried explaining. "His child might be in danger. " The Master said a little louder this time. "What? Is her condition that bad? " The minister asked worried. "The queen is missing, " The Master turned to reply. "What? The queen what? " The Minister felt like the earth under his feet was gone, " What do you even mean? " "I think she did it on purpose. This brings to light another serious issue. There is a blood thirsty imposter ,right inside the Royal palace . "

they started gathering around the parking lot as Kim Liam, the King of ‘Grand Imperial’, himself has came to drop his sister for the first day of her college. Until now, the three of the Kims has taken the superior position in Grand Imperial. Liam while his graduation and post graduation time was the King on Imperial Grand. He is still called the Real King because only his batch was having the most handsome bachelor males including Hanuel and Young Chul and beat them all and got the position of King.

I thought that with phoenix back, I could protect the pack without thinking of the decision-making aspect. Darted worriedly. What if I fail to make a good decision in the near future. I might've proven myself worthy of the position, but I could also prove myself unworthy with any slight mistake. Besides, I had never been a ruler before, I had no idea how it was being one. I was practically just following my instincts for now, but the more I sat down to think about it, the more worried I became.

The imposter’s voice sliced through the tension as the mysterious goddess in the white robe advanced. "It's me, Emperor Caden! We've faced countless battles together. You're all my most trusted allies. Are you going to follow this unknown woman in defying me?" The officials exchanged glances, their expressions unreadable. Though they revered Emperor Caden, their loyalty stemmed not just from his name and power but also from moral and unconventional means. While the imposter mimicked James’ habits, he quickly dismantled James’ image through his illogical and bizarre actions since arriving in the Greater Realms. His blatant missteps had tarnished the emperor’s once well-respected reputation.
