The rain suddenly starts to pour. "No problem ma'am". Jack starts the car, I hear the loud thunder " Is everything okay with you? why the sudden hurry, you look terrified". "That's because I am, I just need to get home, step on it". I couldn't stop biting my fingernails, my legs were shaking like crazy, my phone starts to ring, I bring it out of my pocket, I threw it out the car window. The thunder made a louder sound, I could literally feel the lightning. I touch my tummy, don't worry, I will protect us.

Hollow red eyes glowing faintly like embers, unblinking, locked on our retreating forms. Whatever this storm was, it hadn’t come alone. And we were already too deep in it to turn back.

CHAPTER ONE -WILHELMINA- The storm was a monstrous entity, a simmering chaos that loomed above the forest. It seemed to echo the tumultuous fury within my heart, thundering with all the passion and determination that drove me forward. Despite the storm’s rage, I pushed on, my paws sinking into the sodden earth with each determined step. Suddenly, there it was - amidst the riotous weather and foreboding wilderness - a shimmering glint caught my eye.

As the storm approaches, the wind whips at me, and the platform suddenly experiences a break in the rain. When I look up, I can see the three-quarter moon above, with grey clouds closing in on us, so we must be near the eye's edge. They intended for the tension, wrath, and adrenaline to escalate in this manner. As I go into the thronging mob to enter the fray, I feel it just as much as any other alpha does, like a partial transformation coming over me.

Only forward. Only into the storm.

she asked with a smile. “Never better.” He said as he kissed her gently. “now let’s get home so we can move on to the next stage.” “I think that is the plan.” Deanna said as she looked at him, “Whatever comes next is going to be fine as we move on.” “The next part is the main part of the storm. We are just close to the eye wall.” Max said as he shut the door to the van and walked around. As he did Deanna thought to herself, they will just have to break the eye wall themselves.

Storm After Sean had parked the car, I slowly got out of the car and took hold of Doyle’s hand. Right at this moment he was my strength. Looking at my father, I felt as though I was watching a train wreck or a murder that was about to happen. You know how it is, when you see something playing out in front of your eyes, and you know that what is about to happen is going to be something terrible and won’t end well, but you can’t tear your eyes away from it, anyway. Well, that was me, right here in this moment. The spectator who couldn’t look away, whilst at the same time being the person who was going to be wiped out.

I said, trying to sound as calm as possible when I really just wanted was to punch the wall. “Promise me you won’t hurt her” she gulped, her eyes widening to the size of saucers. “Where?” I asked. “Promise first” I sighed, shaking my head before looking her in the eyes again, “I could never hurt any of you girls okay? Especially not Lacy. I’m just worried” The girl blinked, her eyebrows scrunching together. “Where is she Hailstorm?” “With the pack” she finally sighed, her shoulders slacking.
