The Test of Betrayal

The Test of Betrayal

" It wasn't just the essay. Every single answer Ian wrote matched mine exactly. No matter how I defended myself, it all sounded like the desperate excuses of a cheater. I truly couldn't understand how things ended up that way. But now, Shirley's inner thoughts revealed all the answers. The glasses she gave me contained a hidden pinhole camera. That was why Ian, someone who didn't even need glasses, had worn a pair during the exam that day. Meeting Shirley's gaze, I gently touched the glasses and carefully adjusted them on my face. Her smile grew wider. 'If he's too dumb to even notice this, then he doesn't deserve to get into Alpheno College. He should just become Ian's stepping stone instea

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Fresh ink. Dark ink. Wet ink. As if someone had written them seconds ago. The message said: IT HAS FOUND YOU. Nobody spoke. Then another line appeared. Right before their eyes. Letters forming one by one. Like an invisible hand was writing. Peanut whimpered. Ava stepped backward. Then the message continued. DO NOT LET IT INSIDE. The room exploded with questions. "What is happening?" "Who wrote that?" "How is that possible?" Nobody had answers. Then—

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The Devil In White

The Devil In White

“It’s—it’s for Marco.” “And I’m telling you to open it.” For a second, he seems ready to run. Then he forces himself to obey, tearing the seal with shaking fingers. Inside is a single sheet of paper. Blank. My eyes narrow. “Where’s the real message?” He looks down, sweat gathering near his temple. “Boss, I swear—” “Get out,” I say quietly. He bolts like the hallway’s on fire. I slip the blank paper into my pocket. Blank rarely means empty. My father used invisible ink for years — tricks that only show under heat, or pressure, or blood.

The Heart Never Forgets

The Heart Never Forgets

He led me toward the massive mahogany desk, the desk where my father used to let me sit and draw while he worked. On the desk lay the final transfer papers. They were crisp, official, and final. Beside them sat a fountain pen, a sleek, modern instrument that looked nothing like my father’s old pen. I stared at it, the memory of the "ghost ink" from my earlier thought flashing through my mind. The ink is a beacon. What did the text mean? Was the pen rigged? Or was it the signature itself that triggered the trap? "The world is waiting, Jane," Pierce said, gesturing to the chair.

Return of the Rejected Luna

Return of the Rejected Luna

People have begun to gather, watching both of us. “You did this and I have proof this time.” “What?” “Take off your gloves.” Everyone watches as I take off my glove. “There!” “What is going on?” The crowd parts and Ramsey enters the room. “She’s responsible for what was written in my room!” “No, I am not!” “The proof is on your hands!” I look down at the tips of my fingers stained with black ink. “Luna, that is ink on her fingers.” Ramsey replies, unimpressed. “Yes! The same ink that was used to write those notes!”

Alpha Caius and the Runaway Luna

It was a reminder that I had more freedom than most. “They’re not always bad …” I trailed off as I told her about the night Knight and I had gotten black-out drunk. We spent the entire night plotting out these pranks—some elaborate, some not—most of which had still yet to go off. “Just before we left for the Hunt one of them uh … detonated?” Evangeline cackled loudly, “You planted a pipe bomb under Damon’s bed?!”

Blue Thunder: The Rise of the Legend - book 1

said Audrey while putting it on the coffee table in front of them, “the ink disappears.” “Frank’s girlfriend, isn’t she working the strange stuff? Could she look at it? It’s probably nothing, but I have a bad feeling about this,” said Lizzy. “I’ll call Frank. Stephanie’s boyfriend might also know something, they work in the same field.” Lizzy handed her the cordless phone, and Molly dialled Frank’s number. “Is Coralis with you?” “No, why? I can try to reach out to her if you need.” “I’m at Lizzy’s. I don’t know how to explain this, because it makes no sense. Audrey received a letter where the ink only appears when she touches it, and we’d like Coralis to look at it. She works the strange stu

Pranking the prank king

Pranking the prank king

It couldn't be a better time to pull a prank. I glued a note to his locker earlier to make this more dramatic. Once he got to his locker, he pulled it off and started laughing "Well well well. What do we have here. A note" he held it out and students gathered around him. If only he knew what he was about to get. "Love, Diana" he read it out loud and the hallway became quiet. No one uttered a word as people starred at me in confusion. He opened his locker and BOOM!! Pink dye gushed out of his locker to his face. It wasn't until after seconds the dye stopped gushing out. The place erupted with laughter and I couldn't keep it to myself again. I started laughing.

Pinky Promise

She was not willing to join any group as such, but was still trying to be a part of every group and laughing with everyone who either did or said something which was worth a laugh. In one such pranks that the boys were pulling with anyone at random, Marie came to be the next target for them. One of them quietly went behind where she was standing and tapped her shoulder on the right. When she turned to her right, thinking that someone was calling him, she found nobody standing over there and got confused.

The Black Devil Omegaverse

"If I don't pass out in the process. Oh, look. Black sand is leaking out now. That's not one I can translate." "That's the disinfectant working. It's something I cooked up while trying to make sparkly ink for my Marking. It purges hex magic." Ink explained as he used the cloth to wipe up the black sand and the bubbling black goo coming out of Priest's wounds. "It doesn't look like he got this in every cut but I'm going to treat them all. Just in case."
