The Rogue Kings I

The Rogue Kings I

*** Solaris POV *** My eyes narrowed as I looked at the slight movement in the corner of my eyes. It scurried along the floor and just as it went to run by me, I stepped on it. The crunch was loud but set down the crate I was carrying to inspect the now dead insect. It was a cockroach, full grown. Not only was it not the season for them but Finn and I went to great lengths to make sure this place was bug free. It was one of Noah’s greatest fears and really his only one. Cockroaches were on the top of that list next to spiders and centipedes.

This story pulled at every frickin string of emotion. I had started questioning myself if I could make or come to terms with those same decisions. Tbh, I am still unsure. The author had done amazing job writing this extremely thought provoking story! I can't wait for what book 2 will bring!
Dionna Williams
I'm completely invested in this author! This book made me cry (ugly cry, snot and all) more than Alphas Blind luna series. This book made me sooo mad in places and the further it got the more I understood. Hell, I even started smoking again reading this book! Excellent story, I wish more were on Amzn

Stripper by Night, Doctor by Deception

Stripper by Night, Doctor by Deception

I immediately flinched back. Inside the box were insects. Not normal ones… mutated, angry things. Some had long, needled stingers. Some had red, pulsing sacs on their backs. One looked like it was constantly vibrating, wings twitching like it was straining to be unleashed. All of them were venomous. Painful. Deadly. “Oh my God,” I muttered. “Where did you even get these?” Ricardo just smiled darkly. “Some people collect stamps. I like things that bite.”

The Alpha's Contract Bride

The Alpha's Contract Bride

Another pain formed at my neck, and I yelped, trying to swart the insects away. They flew closer to me, and I tried as much as possible to shoo them away with my hands and crawl out of their midst, but it didn’t work. Not only did the pain increase in my legs, but I couldn’t go past them. I couldn’t stick my hand through them. There was something like a barrier that made it impossible for me to break free. They flew all around me— in my face and in my clothes— and their bites grew. I lay on the ground, burying my face in the arms to protect it.

Being Mr CEO's Bride

Being Mr CEO's Bride

KAELIA'S POV As I listened to him speak, a big black fly buzzed over my head. It hovered for a while, then settled squarely on my nose. My heart lurched, and my body turned rigid for a while as my brain tried to process the fact that an insect was sitting comfortably on my face. I started shaking - more like shivering - as I tried not to scream. “Freddy,” I hissed in a trembling voice, “ Get it off me now.”

Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate

Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate

I frowned even harder as I scratched the mark lightly, hoping the irritating sensation would disappear, but it didn't. The tiny bites continued one after another, making the strange feeling even harder to ignore. I checked the other door connected to the bedroom—the restroom—but it was empty. He wasn't there. The crawling and biting sensation intensified. It now felt like hundreds of tiny soldier ants were moving around the mark, biting little by little. I scratched it. What was happening? A mate mark wasn't supposed to feel like this. Several of my friends had found their mates over the years... None of them had ever mentioned experiencing anything like this on the first night they received

Draco (The Last Dragon Prince)

As we walked ahead suddenly chilled around us got stronger, we all were dressed in thick woolen cape and hand gloves yet we felt shiver, gush after gush of winds started flowing from all four side and before we knew anything wooden torch lamp and oil lamp in our hands started flickering and went off, I heard a loud audible gasp from all solider as reckless whispering started among all, even our horses started shouting and behaving crazy, it was all dark and now our only source of light was coming from moon and stars above our head. “LIGHT LAMPS… LIGHT LAMPS… LIGHT LAMPS… “ I heard someone shouting, very quickly one by one oil lamps again started to light however at that very instant we were

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

Jai asked. Darrion opened his handbook again and it took him only a second to find the creature. “Barbwa bug. It attacks with poison breath and powerful bites. Its teeth, err, fangs were as big as a slice of an apple, what? Man, that’s big.” “Yeah, gigantic,” Jai grimaced a bit. “I guess a bite from this bug can easily be categorized as knife stab. A slice of apple isn’t exactly small if we compare it to a monster’s fang.”

Stranded on an Island with Mr. CEO

I asked, rushing to her side. "I don't know!" she gasped, her breath coming in ragged hitches. "Something bit me. Or stung me. God, Nathaniel, it hurts. It really hurts." I scanned the ground, my eyes darting through the leaf litter. There. A dark, segmented shape was scuttling toward the shade of a rotted log. A black scorpion. It was nearly five inches long, its stinger curved menacingly over its back. I immediately grabbed a heavy stone from the dirt and brought it down with a sickening crunch. I hit it again and again until it was nothing but a smear of dark ichor and crushed shell.

Absolutely LOVED this book so much. Each day, I looked forward to reading this story!! I normally wait to read the book until I have all the characters opened before reading. Your story had me hooked on the very first chapter and couldn’t wait to start reading long before all chapters were opened!!!
Kimberly
What a treat to read a story like this. The characters felt like real people with real emotions and there was just enough suspense and action to keep this love story interesting. Something of a unique tale for this app.

Emerald Eyed Luna: Grant's Revenge

Emerald Eyed Luna: Grant's Revenge

His neck was angled at a weird angle as he fell to the ground. I felt something hit my aura, causing me to look up. The bats were flying around with green eyes. One by one, they started diving at me just narrowly missing me. With my finger, I started shooting out electricity at each one. I missed some but hit others making them fall to the ground, dead. Insects were closing in on me and I had no where to go. The pressure was building up so much from the electricity and the threat of being bitten was too much. I couldn’t take it. I couldn’t control it. Holding it as long as I could, I watched as a beetle was inches from my foot before the power won out.

she wailed. “Let me see.” I hissed when I took a look at the bite marks on her milky skin. They were huge, like hives. Then I noticed the insect repellent on the nightstand. Damn! There would be no wicked plans with our desert tonight. I’ve been cockblocked by an insect.
