4. Connor swept his eyes across the vast forest as he pulled his porshe into the entryway that would lead to the Moonhowler packhouse. He was aware that he'd been watched since he entered the territory an hour ago, but despite casting his eyes around and releasing control of some of the Alpha magic, Connor had been unable to find the spy. They are very good, his wolf Maverick complimented, and Connor wholeheartedly agreed. Even with the window down, he was still unable to detect any scents.

Agent Jane’s sentence got interrupted when the rest of her FBI team suddenly entered the room, along with a group of nurses. “Lord Jesus, what the hell happened here?” One of the FBI agent team members, named Peter Conn, looked around in shock at the damage in the room. “What the hell happened to your nose, son?” The FBI agent asked Agent Vernon when he caught sight of the young man’s nose, which was being treated by a nurse. Agent Peter Conn was the cowboy type. He was an old gentleman with a tall, medium build, a potbelly, wire-rimmed eyeglasses, and a thick gray mustache that oddly complemented the bald spot on his head. He would try to cover the bald spot with a few strands of his hair.
