Ivan creased his brows. “What is that?“ He asked in confusion. But he moved closer when he saw Natalie open the pages of that small notebook.

The book reverts back to third person. “…..I need to be stronger…” Ivan said, his heart bitter and disheartened. Greed had never controlled him. He hoped to be a king neither horrid nor incompetent but a king able to manage his kingdom well and to live a happy life with his wife, one whom he could respect as a human being, if not love. But… did he hope for too much? A soft hiccup snapped Ivan from his whimsical thoughts. He turned his head and saw a little girl. Tears fell from her cheek and she wiped it roughly with her sleeves. She looked distracted, thus failing to take notice of his presence.

*** Ivan sat outside watching the beautiful morning sun rise, he had always been an early riser. He had found it extremely hard to sleep in the house because he had never really had a home to call his. Every night was an adventure with him, from sleeping in taverns, stables and underneath the open skies, one could never get used to a house. He itched to go back to the life he knew and loved. I glance back at the skyhold one last time before rounding the bend. Back at my den, I open the windows and sink into the pages. I’m giddy until a thunderous, rhythmic roar shatters the quiet. The sound echoes off the buildings and makes my teeth ache. I growl, annoyed, and shove a loose strip of parchment into the book. I climb to the window, searching the street for the nuisance. I spot him and scowl, giving the asshole a "what the hell" gesture. The male pulls off his helmet. It’s him. Ivanov.

Ivan shouted at his maximum and jumped from his hold. "What’s wrong, Ivan?" Dev asked with the same ragged tone as Ivan. "You are a living threat to every female in this world; you are a source of manipulation and evilness. You are a white wizard by birth, but to whom so ever you cast your eyes, the darkness follows them." Ivan blabbered and confronted Dev with random words. Though Dev knew that Ivan was not in a clear mind, his words deeply penetrated into Dev’s mind and he accepted the same after some silence, "I agree that I ruined the beautiful life of my Sara by fetching her from her home land to my kingdom only to suffer."

(Lisa's POV) "Lastly, this is the library," Ivan said to me as we entered. I gasped at the sight; it was huge and filled with so many books. It was bigger and more beautiful than the state library. It's already been three days since I last saw Alessio, and Ivan and Isabella have been doing their best to keep me entertained. Shining through with a shocking blue I gape at the vertical shape of its irises. As soot begins to flow from the destruction and I nod at the beast as my heart slows in my chest. With a growl large, webbed wings that crash through the walls expand on its back. I fall facedown onto the floor feeling the earth move as its humongous claws leave my vision. A vortex of wind blow through the hall at the beat of its wings as the world goes silent. As my heart takes its last beat I recall all that has come to be in this life. With my final breath I heave one last wish into the world. Forgive me.
