The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The white seed descended. Quietly. Gently. It landed beside the broken bird. The boy blinked. "Grandma..." "Did you see that?" She frowned. "See what?" The boy looked down. The tiny white seed rested in his palm. Warm. Alive. He smiled. "It's beautiful." Without thinking... He placed it inside the broken bird. The seed disappeared. The cracks in the wood did not vanish. The broken wing remained broken. Nothing was repaired. The boy sighed. "I thought..."

The Little king

The number of purebloods decreases, they need hybrids to keep the numbers. - Why didn't you try to run away? -No one can escape the nest. - Well, I want to try it. I'm not a bird to be in "a nest". Please help me escape. - I can't. - You're a wolf. Even without your wolf, we're the same species. Please, help me. The old man took another sip of tea without saying a single word. - You're a coward. Forced To Marry A Billionaire Bully.

Forced To Marry A Billionaire Bully.

As she was looking through my file, i looked around the very familiar office. The walls are painted dusty blue that offers great comfort and there is a huge panting of a giant white bird with the writings "I'm free..." from under it. I remember asking Dr. Goodman want the painting meant and she told me, the white bird represents once mind and his out stretched wings represent the final departure of the mind from its problems. Which is why 'I'm free' is written under it. Pressing both my palms on the cream colored couch, i waited for Dr. Goodman to sit down.

William POV. "Good morning everyone, hope everyone is doing well," I say with a giant smile on my face, I have a big smile, the smile I give to all our new pets, the classification is over, and everyone is going to get their colour band sometime today, maybe tomorrow, I haven't heard anything from my brother today yet, I hoped to hear the good news soon, and then we'd move to the next step.

Louisa Unchained

Louisa Unchained

I followed the voice and saw an old lady with grey hair standing next to a small house. Colt flew to this old lady and held her tightly. The old lady looked very satisfied and closed her eyes. "Mrs. Flynn! I was just thinking about you! How's the warbler I made for you? Do you like it?" Colt asked. "Yes, it functions well and sings beautifully for me at night, but there's a very tiny problem..." the old lady replied. As they were talking, a big iron bird with flapping wings and a razor-sharp peak and blade-like feathers, which was about three times the size of an average warbler, swooped at us.

Death Wish : Dead Kiss

Death Wish : Dead Kiss

Pawn Clara got confused. "Pecan Zorro yew," Bishop Eloise repeated the bird's name with a laugh. Pawn Clara went a little closer and started looking carefully at the bird. It was a white bird about 8 feet tall, with red eyes that looked like two red pearls on white clouds. It was very beautiful to look at. Her heart skipped a beat when it turned to her and flapped its wings. The feathers were as soft as down, and so shiny she could see her reflection in them.

Three Little Birds

Three Little Birds

"Wanna sit on the swing while we eat?" I nodded and smiled around my cup. "Sounds perfect." We ate mostly in companionable silence as we watched the birds dance around the trees. Along the power lines sat three bluejays, one sitting slightly further away than the other two. Almost as if it were ostracized from his mates. My heart fell a little at the sight. The lone bird held both a meaning for me and a message. "Liz?" "Hm?" "You know when Mykel is coming home?"

Little Bird

Little Bird

It makes sense as to why I’ve never felt like I belonged anywhere, even when I was surrounded by my classmates in high school. Using the heels of my hands, I wipe away my tears as I sigh deeply. “Sometimes we have to allow the darkest moments in our life to surface and indulge in its misery. Or it will manifest inside you, snuffing out the little bit of light you call hope, Little Bird.” A sudden burst of white light floods the room, and I take a deep breath. I twist my neck, following the sound of his delicious voice that gives me chills all over — in a good way.

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

It was the planet itself, coming to reclaim the last of its "Architects." I stood at the edge of the cliff, the wind catching my silver hair. I felt a lightness in my marrow, as if the bones themselves were turning into light. The silver scars on my hands began to glow with a soft, final radiance—the last of the "White Wolf" preparing to return to the wind. Félix was beside me, his hand in mine. He looked at the white light with a look of profound, weary triumph. "Is it time, Little Bird?"

One of my favourite stories Ive found. the storyline amazing, the characters especially having a strong female lead amazing and the humour made me laugh laugh out loud at times like a crazy person. Kudos to the author and her brilliant imagination. it does however need to be edited/proof read though
Angela Newkirk
this is a really good book! I wish the author would learn how to use punctuation correctly! and " marks make a big difference! she uses some weird brackets between their talking. That's one big long run-on sentence between everybody talking. sometimes it's hard to figure out who is actually talkin
