He wants to help me with CGT,” I said.

They don't realize the forest is just trying to eat them."

I didn't know why I was rooting fr him all of a sudden or why I saw him as a better candidate compared t Jaxon. I could get away from Theorone from all indications but Jaxon, was a beast I couldn't end up with, not again. I thought as my mind leapt, especially with fear because I knew and had witnessed how weak Theorone was even though he were supposed to be powerful because of his lycan heritage.

When the future beta declared that it was time for him to shift, Joric complied. His wolf, Claude, was a formidable creature. Despite being a large, dark brown wolf that could be intimidating due to his size, the light brown hue of his paws emitted a sincere vibe. Despite his imposing stature, observers might mistake him for an alpha, but his aura resonated with that of a beta. Since he hadn't reached the age of 18 yet, his status could change upon reaching maturity.

As if she was used to this, Marcello paid no heed to them and simply walked in with James. When they entered, a man walked over to them.
